  It’s been over 4 months since I rented a car with this company, and I never received my security deposit refund of USD 200. I had given up on getting it back, but then on December 12, they charged me an additional USD 103.55 for a fine that I had already paid. My bank shows a total of USD 318 charged and no refund at all. I’ve repeatedly requested the ARN for the refund and a credit memo showing the date, amount, last 4 digits of my card, and reference, but they have provided nothing. Without the ARN, my bank cannot trace the credit. What’s shocking is how quickly they can charge automatically, but when it comes to returning money, there’s no action. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of customer service. I will share this experience everywhere I can because I’m not the first person this has happened to. Avoid this company at all costs.

  Best service provided by Miguel!!! He really mad sure that I'm satisfied and have a nice vehicle!! Long time didn't have such a great experience at a car rental!!

  My husband and I rented a car for one day (pickup Sat at 1pm and return Sunday at 1pm). We confirmed the rental an hour or so before pickup and received a confirmation from Sixt. When we arrived at the rental place, we didn’t see anyone working. After waiting and waiting, someone finally showed up after 1pm and says they were parking another car and too bad so sad the location closes at 1pm and we can no longer rent the car. They told us to come back tomorrow and would not budge when we told them it was only a 1 day rental. We then said we would need to cancel the reservation since they wouldn’t let us rent the car and they said the cancellation fee would apply. They finally got a manager involved who “waived” the fee for their own error. We won’t ever use them again. Thanks for nothing.

  Ganz Ok um ein Auto abzuholen. Der Herr war freundlich. Wenig Verkehr in der Gegend. Bezüglich des inhaltlichen Services kann ich mich nur anschließen... geht besser. War eher ein *Verkaufsgespräch*. Mini oder Jeep zur Auswahl ( zu klein oder zu viel Verbrauch) da wurde uns gleich ein Upgrade ( natürlich nicht kostenlos) angeboten. Erst auf Nachfrage gab es eine Alternative ( Subaru Legacy). Dann natürlich alle Zusatzoptionen zubuchbar. Bei *Maut* wollte man uns natürlich auch das Paket verkaufen. Wie Alternativen laufen etc. ,dazu wurden wir nicht beraten. Bei 15 Tagen wären das 90$ ( 5,99 pro Tag). *Selbstrecherche*: 90$ ist die maximale Gebühr pro Miete laut sixt ( pro Tag genutzter Maut 15$ Gebühr, also zur Not geht immer). Wir wollten kaum oder kein Maut fahren. Dann kann man am Anfang digital *Mängel melden*, über einen QR Code in der Broschüre. Dies war leider direkt bei der Fahrzeugübergabe nicht möglich. Leider vor Zeitlimit abgelaufen...Auch auf Nachfrage konnte uns nicht geholfen werden. Wir sollten sonst einfach Fotos mit dem Handy machen. Da Vollkasko war dies für uns zum Glück nicht relevant. Bei der *Abgabe* sind wir da wieder vorgefahren wo wir es abgeholt haben. Abgabe nicht möglich. Man muss selber zum Parkhaus um die Ecke fahren. Auch hier kein Service. Das *Auto* war ganz gut 👍.

  Picked up a car from the Williamsburg Sixt branch right before closing, and the vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke. I had no choice but to keep it all weekend. When I returned the car and contacted customer service, I was assured the rental would be refunded (Complaint #7050). Instead, I was still charged, and Sixt later refused to honor what they told me. A car in that condition should never have been rented in the first place. So now I’m leaving this review hoping the branch takes responsibility and resolves this. Rental agreement: 9606280923.
