  I would’ve given 0 stars if I could , reserved truck 2 months in advance. I went to pick it up and the truck wasn’t available. They gave me bigger truck with empty tank , check engine light , missing pads and dolly ( paid in advance ) . NEVER EVER AGAIN PENSKE TRUCK FROM THIS LOCATION !

  Confirmed several times for a truck pick up on a Saturday morning. I scheduled it two months in advance, followed up at 1 month to pick up, 2 weeks to pick up, 1 week to pick up, and at 2 days and 1 day to pickup, including the night before. I was always assured the truck would be ready. When I got to Cropsey Ave Home Depot at 7am in the morning after traveling 50 miles from NJ, I was told the truck was not there, there was no explanation as to why, and that this happens all the time with Penske rentals at this location. When I called Penske, I was told to go to another location on Hamilton Ave in Brooklyn to rent a different size truck which was bigger than ordered. I am not a truck driver, and I did not feel comfortable driving a 22 footer (I tried it and returned it). Penske is the reason I was not able to move from Brooklyn to NJ after planning this for 2 months, and I lost income by taking off from work for this. Avoid Penske at all costs. Avoid all Penske trucks. Apparently, UHAUL is not any better.
