  Please be vigilant when renting vehicles from Enterprise at this location Bohemia NY . It is essential to always take a clear photograph of both the gas tank level and the odometer reading at the time you pick up the vehicle. Additionally, before returning the vehicle after refueling, please ensure you take another photograph showing the full gas tank and the odometer. Despite fueling the vehicle completely, I was still charged $5.56 for 1.10 gallons of gas, at a rate of $5.05 per gallon. This unexpected charge indicates a discrepancy that may not be immediately apparent unless you document the tank and mileage carefully. Firstly, I recommend taking a clear photograph of the odometer along with the timestamp at the moment you pick up the car. This documentation serves as valuable evidence of the vehicle’s initial mileage and time of pickup. Upon collecting the vehicle, I suggest driving to the nearest gas station and refueling the tank completely. It is crucial to monitor and note the exact amount of fuel required to fill the tank. This step is especially important because, on some occasions, this rental company may provide vehicles that appear to have a full tank of gas, but in reality, the tank is not fully fueled. Before you return the rental car, please ensure that the gas tank is refilled to the same level. It is advised to take another photograph verifying that the tank is full and to retain the receipt from the gas station as proof of refueling. By following these steps, you can avoid potential disputes or additional charges related to fuel discrepancies upon returning the vehicle.   So I was guaranteed an SUV for a rental. I have a full size suv that is being repaired. They put me in a sedan with the smell of marijuana. I called to get it switched for the originally promised suv which in turn they were going to put me in to one for $23 a day extra from the already $40 that insurance is paying. Instead of honoring there mistake (if one was made), there consolation was to get me in a compact car that would fit half of my family. Not great service all around.

  Up until about 3 years ago I used any rental company. It literally came down to price. The guys at the Bohemia location have changed that. I don’t even search anymore. I know I’m not going to get killed on price and the customer service I receive more than makes up for any small discount I would’ve gotten from somewhere else. Kudos to James and his team.
