  I had a great experience at this Mavis Discount Tire shop in Bethpage and wanted to highlight the exceptional service I received from both Ryan and Jaime. From the moment I called in with my Audi needing brake and rotor repairs, Ryan made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He was incredibly friendly, approachable, and took the time to clearly explain what was going on with my car. What stood out most was how knowledgeable he was—he answered all of my questions with confidence and made sure I understood the scope of the work and what to expect. It’s not always easy to find someone in customer service who combines professionalism with such a genuine, welcoming demeanor, but Ryan absolutely does. Jaime, the mechanic who worked on my car, did an outstanding job with the repair itself. The brakes and rotors feel brand new, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and pays attention to detail. It’s reassuring to know your vehicle is in capable hands, and Jaime definitely delivered that level of quality. Overall, this was a top-tier experience from start to finish. I truly appreciate the teamwork between Ryan and Jaime—they made what could have been a stressful repair feel seamless and handled with care. I will definitely return if I need repairs or tires in the future.

  I can’t say enough about Ryan and the service I got at Mavis. I got not one but two flats and one tire ripped. It was very stressful. My tires had to be ordered and I got updated on everything. I hope to never go back, yet if I do, I would go there again.

  I had a very good experience at this Mavis location. Chris, the manager was surprisingly knowledgeable and she immediately greeted me when I arrived. She answered all of my questions and the confidence I felt caused me to return with the car that needed tires. It wasn't very busy and I did notice that a lot of the other workers were standing around while one gentlemen was working alone on my vehicle. At first I thought it was because employees had different responsibilities. However, I soon realized that the gentleman working on my car was also the same guy that was going to do the wheel alignment. I was expecting a handoff but that didn't happen. That caused me to think why was this guy doing all the work himself pulling the tires, rimming the tires, balancing the wheels, taking them off and putting them back on the car while other staff could have jumped in to assist thereby making the process a lot quicker and more efficient. I definitely think there is room for improvement in that regard. The other thing preventing a 5 star rating is the condition of the waiting room, specifically with regards to the dirty floor and walls. It wouldn't take much effort to clean the place up, especially when there is a staff just waiting around for customers to walk in.

  DONT COME HERE! If I could give 0 stars I could! I have warranty from Mavis and they told me they could not switch the tire, and there was nothing they could do for me. Then I asked can they put air in my tire since they could not help me and so I could leave since there was 0 air in, and they gave me a hard time just doing that! After going back & forth I told them can they just put air in so I could leave and go somewhere else n they did after several minutes.. Kris and German gave horrible customer service. I went to another Mavis and they just switch the tire and told me my warranty did cover my car tires and were confused on why they denied me service!! I will be calling an hire up to understand what the confusion was about as well as why the nasty attitudes

  Very upset with the service provided from this location. I had some vibration when driving my car so naturally I went to a tire shop to see if something was wrong with the tires and in need of a balance or something of that sort and when describing the issues with the car they told me they will check the tires and a wheel alignment and balance will most likely be suggested. Due to the long wait time they told me it would take up to two hours to get my car into the garage but to leave it there and I could come back even though I did ask if I could just come back in two hours but then they said I would lose my place in line. I went ahead and took the option to leave me car and then received a call from them about the two hours later for them explaining to me I have to 2 bad tires that are not fixable and new ones must be placed. I told them I am on the way there because I wanted to be better explained to in person, not even 15 minutes later I show up and they are already balancing the tires and showed me the bad tires that “couldn’t be repaired”. One tire did have a bubble in it that could not be fixed but the other tire only a nail in it and they told me the placement of the nail made it impossible to fix. They wanted me to replace the tires with the tires they had in stock which cost $285 each along with other services costing over $1000. I did not opt to change anything with them because I felt like there was no way it would cost this much, and they offered me to open a credit card to finance the payments. I wanted them to put my tires back on and leave at that point but instead they said they needed to finish the balance because it already was started. They still charged me $150 for just the balance of the tires and I still left with the same issue. It’s gets worse!! After a few days I was driving and noticed the lever to open my hood was dangling and I know for sure that wasn’t like that prior to going there. The lever now was not able to open my hood. The only place or person who would touch that lever would be me (which I never did) or them since they checked my fluid levels while I was there (which they said my brake fluid was contaminated). Of course because of my bad experience I did not want to bring it back to them I brought it to Volkswagen to see if it really was broken and sure enough it was. To repair this cost $1200. So now this place left me either not being able to open my hood or pay $1200.
