  One of my car tires had a bolt nut/ giant screw stuck and I went to this location on Hempstead turnpike. The staff was exceptionally professional and welcoming. I had no appointment and it was getting closer to their closing time and already 6-7 customers waiting. They told me an hour wait but literally, 30 mins later they took my car inside. The whole process took about 1hr and 15mins. I don’t live in that area and home was a hour away. The young lady at the register was so pleasant and sweet while training a lovely young man. Keep up the good work guys!! Thank you so much for taking me at the last minute and helping me get home.

  I had a situation with my RIM that needed to be addressed by an outside business but Mavis coordinated it. The RIM was bent and needed repair so they sent it out for repair otherwise the new tire would not seal properly. The cost was $180. After the repair I was still loosing air so I brought it back to Mavis who said they would check it. They discovered slight crack in the rim causing air to leak. I said this RIM was just repaired why wouldn’t this be addressed as well. They didn’t know but said it would cost another $180 but would advocate for me to try and get it lower. They said $150 which still wasn’t sitting well with me. I reached out to customer service who were very responsive and shared my story and my disappointment. They got back to me immediately and told me it was taken care of and I would not be charged. Christine at the Bethpage location was great as well. She has a tough job but whenever I’m there she handles customers situations very professionally. She deserves a raise. Overall very impressed how Mavis handled my situation and will continue to use and recommend them.

  I had an excellent experience at Mavis getting an oil change and inspection done on my Hyundai Sonata. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, friendly, and upfront about everything. They got my car in quickly, explained what they were checking, and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. The service was fast, thorough, and affordable. My car is running smooth, and I left feeling confident that everything was done right. It’s hard to find honest, reliable auto service these days, but this Mavis location definitely delivered. I’ll absolutely be coming back and highly recommend them to anyone needing quality car care!

  If you’re considering coming here for an inspection- DON’T. Last Thursday, I had a scheduled inspection appointment at Bethpage Mavis. When I arrived to the appointment, I was told by the two female employees behind the desk that the inspector was a “no call no show” that day, so I couldn’t get my car inspected. No one had called me to tell me that- they just waited for me to show up to tell me. Despite this, I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they offered to reschedule my appointment for the next Thursday. They said I could come back at the same time next week to get it inspected. Today (the next week) when I showed up for my inspection appointment, I was told that they don’t do inspections on Thursdays. It was the same two women at the desk from the week prior. Mind you, this was THEIR reschedule and THEIR idea to put me on Thursday. They said “oh yeah, we see your appointment here on the computer”. The appointment that THEY made. But yet once again, no one called me in advance to tell me that there was no inspector, and they actively chose to reschedule me for a day that there is apparently no inspector. Once again, they just waited for me to show up. I have been a customer of this Mavis for many many years, but to me, this was unacceptable. It is ridiculous that I showed up to two appointments just to be told I can’t even get the service that I was scheduled for. I will never be returning to this location because this was extremely unorganized and unprofessional.

  Came here to get a quote for a tire replacement was told they would need to take a look at the tire to tell me what it would cost.And that they didn't have time to give a quote.I said to them the size of the tire.That's needed and just asked for a general quote for whatever tire they needed.And they said, oh, we'd have to inspect the tire first.That's on the car before we can give you a quote.I left there and went to the place down the block.That was a lot friendlier and were able to get me in immediately.Unlike this place who only had one of the person there and no cars in the parking lot.And said it would be a three hour.Wait for a quote.
