  My brakes failed on 11/16/25 at 8pm and i was stranded 350 miles from home. After being towed on 11/17 to Batavia, NY Monro, store manager, Stephen Vosburgh, took me in and installed all new brake lines that day. Staff went above and beyond to get me on the road home on 11/17 in early afternoon after having to sleep at a truck stop in 30 degree weather the previous night. Thank you Stephen, Sherri, and Skip for getting me home safely.

  Set an appointment to have my car looked at about a problem its having, my husband takes it in they say there is no problem with the one part but the other part definitely needs to be fixed they took it upon themselves and put fluids in my car without saying a word and proceeds to try and charge my husband for it when he never asked for it to be done and didn't know until it was already done. Way to scam people monro....

  Terrible. Absolutely terrible mechanics and even worse store management. Brought my truck to get tire sensors put in. Ended up leaving and my tire ends up falling off because no one put the lug nuts back on the tire. Messed up my rim bad so they offered to buy me a new one. After waiting 4 days for a new rim they installed a new rim that was different. So after telling them it wouldn’t work for me. They took my truck for another 3 days waiting for the right rim. And then I get a call from the manger Steve. Says it’s all good but now I noticed that they didn’t replace the rim at all and that they put the original back on. And Steve went from saying it’s a new rim to a used one. Completely lied to my face. Not only are they careless but they also do bad business. Highly recommend you don’t go here

  Batavia Monro is my go to place when I have minor concerns, oil change, brakes or tires. They are always friendly and work promptly on my vehicle. Great team of mechanics and other employees.

  I usually have a great experience every time because Steve is always decent. However, I’ve been noticing that the repairs although good and done right are very very expensive. The material cost is three times what would it cost me to purchase the same coil at AutoZone. I told Steve that it’s ridiculous to pay three times what it cost for the ignition coil and he said you should’ve told us you could’ve purchased it and I would’ve put it in. However, he should’ve told me to do that as an option before. To my stupidity I told him to fix it without asking what the cost was because I trusted it was just 1 ignition coil. We all want to save money and keep the customer relations good, but at this time I don’t think I’m not gonna go to Monroe anymore. I’m gonna find another place in Batavia, New York to go to because it’s absolutely ridiculous. I understand the cost of material. I own a small business doing plumbing and service work in Batavia but this is price gouging three times the cost? Would you want me to buy a $200 toilet and charge you $600 just for the toilet and then charge you a service charge to install it. I don’t think so. Over the past 5 years This happens more frequently at Monroe Batavia than it has not happened so I don’t think I wanna do business with Monroe anymore. Steve and Sherry are wonderful people very nice to deal with and there customer service is excellent. However, even though I’ve been a loyal customer for many years and had several vehicles there, but I’m just sick of getting ripped off with over overcharges. John Pestillo
