- LHLisa HollnerFeb 14, 20261.0We had 2 winter tires studded at this location in Milton. The tires sprang a leak after 2 weeks. We took them to a different location of Mavis to have them looked at and the mechanic said the tires were bad and sold my daughter 2 new all season tires that cost her over $340 and that was with a supposed $40 discount. They told us the tires were defective and we should bring them back to Walmart. We saw the TLE manager at Walmart and he explained that the tires are not defective, they were worn from bad alignment. He also said the studs were too long and showed us where one went through. And how they tried to cover it with bead sealer. My husband tried repeatedly to get a hold of a manager to talk about this issue and the manager kept saying that it's not their fault. They say it's not a studding issue, when it is. We had eight tires studded at the Mavis on Broadway and had no problems with those. Obviously the ones here did not know how to stud tires. All we were looking for is the cost of the two tires that they ruined, back. Which would have been $200, If you count the cost of the tires and the studding fee. We understand that some mistakes can be made, own up to them. I don't think this is how you would keep your customers happy. That's for sure.

Whether it was due to lack of attention or not taking the time to check properly, the result was unnecessary stress and the impression of a major, expensive repair. It ultimately turned out to be a loose bolt. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t trust this shop.
- PLPaul & June LymanJan 15, 20265.0Ryan and the guys at Mavis are the best. I have been going there for years and they always do outstanding work. This visit they went above and beyond!!! I purchased new rims for my van and showed up requesting that they install them along with new tires. I asked a lot from them. They never batted an eye and did everything I asked and took great care in doing so. They even individually wrapped each of the removed rims and tires I’m plastic so they wouldn’t get my camper van floor dirty. They called and found a lug nut key I was missing, and even took the time to mount each hub cover. A task I didn’t even ask them to do. I can’t say enough about the crew !! They really went out of there way to do a great job and had a “no problem “ attitude!! HIGHLY recommend their shop!!
