- SSStephenApr 15, 20261.0I had a very concerning experience at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. The level of competence and attention to detail here needs serious improvement. The manager struggled significantly just to read and understand the service information on the screen, which immediately raised concerns about whether things were being handled correctly. What’s worse is that at the end of the visit, I was told “have a good day” as if the service was complete. I started my vehicle and realized no oil had even been put in it. That is not a minor oversight—that’s the kind of mistake that can destroy a customer’s engine. There should be clear communication and verification before sending a customer on their way, especially for something as critical as an oil change. I cannot recommend this location based on this experience. Basic procedures and accountability need to be taken much more seriously.

I purposefully went to that location because one of the staff was unable to rotate my tires during my previous visit and stated he would take care of it the next time. This employee Chris making comments regarding the reason for my request of the tire rotation was unnecessary. It appeared to me he was bullying his coworker who was assisting me. Thank you for your concern in this matter. If I decide to ever return to Valvoline in Auburn I would like to be sure that the staff member Chris does not work on my vehicle.
