- EZEddie Zhu1 day ago1.0Came in for a flat tire repair/slow leak and was told that there was a leaky valve in that tire and that all 4 TPMS sensors needed replacement. Was also told that the “ball joint was leaking oil” and that it needed replacement as well. I asked if there was any puncture in the tire and was told no, it was due to the leaky valve and the ball joint. So I authorize the repair and spend 800 dollars and 5 hours waiting. They return the car and I immediately notice a new metallic scraping sound when driving off the lot. Took the car right back in and was told a dust cover was bent out of place scraping against the rotor and they bent it back. So after 5 hours and 800 dollars, I had more issues than I came with. On top of that, the original issue was not repaired as I had a flat again the next day. I took it back immediately, and was told that they found a nail in the tire, they had missed a simple nail in the tire and diagnosed a slough of issues that were not related. So effectively I paid 800 dollars and waited 7 hours total for a nail in the tire. They replaced all my TPMS sensors, replaced the metal valve I had with a rubber valve, replaced ball joint and did strut and alignment work. All for a nail in the tire. Came out of the store feeling taken advantage of, not taken care of.
