I met Ian who when introducing myself, I explained to him I was in need of a newer reliable vehicle & live on a fixed income due to a disability. I do a lot of driving between doctors & therapist's & I had been driving a 2006 Lexus which was getting tired with higher mileage. Ian understood what I my concerns were & discussed the different availabilities. He gave me the time to look at their inventory & take anything I was interested in for a test drive. I found a newer used 2017 Nissan Murano that I absolutely love, it sits up much higher than my original Lexus GS 300, which I had a difficult time getting in & out of as my mobility decreased. I noticed a little play in the steering while test driving & expressed my concerns to Ian who sent it to their well trained mechanics who diagnosed the problem and corrected it. Ian also gave me a complimentary vehicle to use while mine was being looked over. If anyone is looking to make a purchase new or used, I would definitely recommend Ian. He's very knowledgeable, not pushy to make a sale, gave me & my partner plenty of time to look around & discuss any & all concerns we both had. Thank you Ian for all you did in helping me find the perfect vehicle for my needs. I highly recommend Destination Nissan for your next vehicle. They work well with you, not at all pushy & give you all the time you need to make your own choices.
- JDJohn DeBoisDec 17, 20251.0Shady service practices. I dropped my truck (36k miles) off for an oil change and wheel alignment. I wanted to wait there but they said it could take a while and suggested I leave it there instead. So I Ubered to work ($14 each way, since they don't have a shuttle). Within a half an hour I get a text message from them stating that 3 issues with the truck need immediate attention based on the multi-point inspection they did. I responded asking for them to call me back - but they didn't (until maybe an hour later). Long story short, there were no immediate attention issues - they wanted to check to see if I wanted to add routine maintenance fluid replacements, which I already opted out of when I made the appointment. It was a huge ordeal that could have been avoided with an upfront conversation. They knew the mileage when I dropped it off - they should have asked about the maintenance up front instead of sending me a report saying that 3 issues need immediate attention. This isn’t a knock on the service rep - he was professional and just following policy - this is a knock on the Destination Nissan policies. I've had similar weird experience with the sales/showroom department as well - I won't be going back to this dealer again.
