Sinclair Oil's iconic DINO-SAUR has been fueling America since 1916 and is proud to provide innovations such as DINOCARE™ A TOP TIER™ Gasoline that will keep American drivers on the road for years to come.
I ran out of gas on South McCarran Street roughly 50 meters from this station. Naturally, I walked over, assuming a gas station would be equipped to help someone who ironically ran out of gas right next to them.
They don’t sell jerry cans.
Fine. I called a family member to bring one so I could purchase fuel from this station. While waiting, I bought a bottle of water because I was thirsty. Then I waited outside for about half an hour in the cold.
When I needed to use the restroom and warm up, I went back inside. The attendant informed me the bathrooms are “permanently closed.” At a gas station. Let that sink in.
I decided to simply stand inside for a few minutes to warm up while waiting for my fuel container. The attendant asked if she could help me. I EXPLAINED CLEARLY THAT I was waiting for a family member to arrive with a gas can so I could buy gas there.
Her response? Buy something else or get out.
I pointed out that I had literally just purchased a water bottle from her not 30 minutes earlier that was still IN MY HAND.
She then demanded I buy another item.
The sheer pettiness, greed, and complete lack of basic human decency was offensive. A stranded traveler, 50 meters from your pumps, planning to give you business, and your solution is to shake them down for another impulse purchase just to stand indoors for a few minutes?
I was so genuinely disgusted that I deliberately chose to buy gas from the Arco down the road instead—despite the inconvenience. That station earned my money. You did not.
I will never spend another dollar here, and I will actively advise others to avoid this place.
Shame on Sinclair for treating stranded customers like nuisances instead of human beings.

My husband and I go in there often but not everyday. We went in there today Jan 17th 2026 around 1215 pm ish and after my husband paid for his stuff and while I was paying for mine some guy came out and rushed up to my husband and got in his face and started yelling at my husband about how he knows he's not supposed to be in the store. My husband said idk what ure talking about. And the guy said ain't u the guy from south Dakota or south Carolina or somewhere and my husband said no I'm native Nevadan and then the guys said oh sorry then patted my husband on the back. After an encounter like that no one wants to be touched. Maybe the guy should make sure he knows who he is talking to before just running up on someone and accusing them of something. We probably ont be going back for a while. I tried to call to talk to the GM and no one answered the phone
