- PPPhippoNov 3, 20251.0Avoid This Place at All Costs! I took my 2020 Acura to the Valvoline on Burke Street last weekend for a simple oil and filter change. When I got home and parked the car, everything seemed fine — until later that evening when my wife and I were heading out for dinner. As I backed out of the garage, I noticed a large puddle of oil on the floor and driveway. The next day, I returned to the shop to report the issue and asked to speak with the manager about the poor job that had been done. I was told he was working under a vehicle in the service bay. I then asked another employee, who appeared to be standing around doing nothing, to let the manager know a customer needed to speak with him about an oil leak caused by their service. The employee came back and, instead of helping, asked me, “Why do you want to talk to him?” To make matters worse, the so-called manager refused to come out and speak with me at all. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. This wasn’t my first visit — I have three other vehicles that I regularly service and had planned to bring here. But after this experience, they’ve lost all my business. Any competent manager should know that ignoring a customer is the quickest way to lose one. If there were an option for zero stars, that’s exactly what I would give them. -PH
