I came in the other day and the lady there was extremely rude and kept chatting with the other worker instead of checking me out, I had to stand there for about 3 min waiting for her to stop gossiping before I was noticed. The store was messy, working in the industry it just wasn't presentable in my opinion. I believe the workers name was Laura

This was the fourth time within 2 weeks this Maverik did not have any breakfast burritos. These were all from around 6 am to 8 am. I geuss they don't need my business or my coworkers business.

This one star is specifically for tonight's experience with apparently the store manager. 12/13/25 1230am. Normally I love this store, IAN is amazing. BUT ATTENTION MR. MATT SPANGLER DISTRICT MANAGER: Hello, sir. My name is ReeAnn. I am born and raised in sparks; Raised to be a respectful kind soul. I came into the Maverick on south meadows pkwy at 1230am on Saturday. And I came all the way down there because I've been going through some mental stuff and Very Rough Life Punches lately. And I just wanted some rolos to make me feel better(ive cried 4 times this month&thats more than i have in 5 years). So i picked out my 1 rolos and turns out they were 2.52 with tax and I only had 2.11... So I went and asked the only other customer there if he had 50 cents.. He being kind and generous gave me a dollar. When I got back to the register I got very rudely disciplined by your store manager (blonde hair, chomping gum)... With a nasty look and a whole lot of attitude she told me to not ever ask her customers for money. I was flabbergasted. I told her i am not homeless, i was just a little short.. She said it doesnt matter. And I said its not like i was buting alcohol or something like that with it. I felt very disrespected, even worse. And I have been working semse i was 15yrs old, sowmtimes life happens and you have to get by (i got chronic pain and kidney failure in Aug). I also grew up in this town/nevada when it used to be its true self. Back in the good days.. No theft, could leave ypur bikes outside, heck could leave your kids outside all day. Anyways what im saying is that I value that kind of soul in a person. We are here to help each other out and so we all succeed, supposed to be.. I think that her morals are not of a good heart. And she made my experience horrible. Changed my whole vibe for a second and I dont appreciate that. Why can't we just be nice to each other. And I worked at Safeway so I get having to tell homeless people or kids to not ask customers for money because they are relentless and literally harass customer. Tots different situations. I think she needs to reevaluate her heart and her attitude because what goes around comes around. Amd karma is a B words. And if you ain't kind to people or help when you can then when your in the lowest worst spot no one is going to help be there to help her. Not a good Manager if you ask me. I was pleasent. I said hi as I came inside. I was smiling. Does Maverick not valuing their customers anymore, heck even show a slight effort of qualified customer service, not even good customer service at all obviously. Im very disappointed and also want to point out how the littlest things can make what ends up being someone's last straw. There are alot of suffering people these days. Myself included, i battle Mental health and physical health problems. And recently been very depressed and honestly battling myself because I've been feeling suicidal, and I hate every day, and I still try to be joyful and pleasant to the people around me because I love them. And I do want to live, but this world is awful, and so it just takes one interaction like that for someone to actually go over the edge. People kill themselves all the time now and days.
