The technician showed me how to breathe into the device so that my car would start. What he did not do was tell me how to shut it off so it didn't drain my battery. I initially gave them a 1 star for lack of information on how the interlock device worked. 2) When I got home I shut the car off and the lights and words were still lit on the device. I waited to see if they turned off automatically. After awhile, I push the black square in the middle and it appeared to go off. That evening I received a lockout message from Intoxalock. How can that be? I didn't attempt to drive the car as I was going out of town. 3) I could not get any one from Intoxalock on the phone over the weekend - so much for 24/7 service! Bottom line: service technicians need to do a better job of explaining how to use the device to avoid lockouts and other issues. Adjunct: Since the install, I have been in touch with Daniel from Intoxalock who has been very helpful and responsive. He gets the 5 star rating for helping to completely explain the interlock device use and how it works.
