- AWAlison WilkinsonDec 20, 20251.0No soap in the restroom, when I told the workers they said The soap dispenser was broken and they were waiting for a new one on order. But they didn't have any soap in the bathroom, not a bottle or anything. So they knew the soap was broken but didn't have any soap out. So I'm assuming that also means the employees don't wash with soap since there is no soap in the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty and smelly. The purse/coat hook in the stall (in 1 of only 2) was broken off and missing. The icee drink also tasted like nothing. Paid for it, took a few sips and threw it away. Several drinks were out of stock and others were dented or damaged. We love Maverick, this was the first bad experience I've ever had at one. Very disappointed.

Of the many great clerks here at this store, I can mention one of them. Murphy. He’s quick and kind and well spoken. GREAT performance as a gas station clerk. He’s clean and doesn’t smell. I only come here because the clerks don’t appear dead on the inside. This goes for all the clerks I’ve met at the counter. As with most businesses, the managers are usually the problem because they have the luxury of not having to do this job on the front lines. I’ve never met the manager. Probably because they’re dead inside. Keep up the great work, clerks. It’s you guys that keep me coming in. I can get this product at 5 other places for a few bucks less, but as with all businesses, again, it’s the people that earn the interest of the customer.
