  5/5 service! I got my oil changed by another company in Utah 2 days ago and I was leaking and nervous after having driven 4 hours to get to NV. I told them the situation - they checked it out, checked my levels, found the filter was loose so it was causing a continual leak. They fixed it free of charge within a few minutes and were so easy to work with. Highly recommend based on their customer service!

  Over the past few weeks I have experienced some of the best customer service anywhere from the Mesquite Nevada Grease Monkey location. They helped me with normal oil and general servicing along with cleaning the headlight lenses. Then the ultimate was today when Rustin did an AC rebuild to get the air conditioning system working correctly. He did a excellent job and I am so very pleased with his work. I am a very happy Mesquite Grease Monkey customer.

  What stood out to me the most about this grease? Monkey was the attention to detail and not skipping over anytime, any point of the process. We'll be bringing my other vehicles here.

  I have a 2012 Ford Transit connect that I wanted the rear brake linings checked before I shipped the vehicle to Maui. I had tried a few times to remove the rear drums and failed. They spent a couple of hours pounding and persuading the drums until they got them off. The brake linings had plenty left on them and they sent me down the road free of charge. Totally awesome

  Review for Grease Monkey – Mesquite, NV I brought my truck in for an oil change and was shown that my air filter needed to be replaced. I agreed to the service, but they didn’t have a filter in stock and asked me to return the next day. Since we were preparing for a long trip, I wanted to make sure the truck was in the best possible condition. When I returned the following day, they still didn’t have the filter. We went to an auto parts store, purchased one for $70, and when we opened the hood to install it, we discovered there was no air filter at all in the housing. Not the old one, not a temporary one—nothing. I immediately returned to Grease Monkey to ask why I had been sent home with my engine completely unprotected. Running a vehicle without an air filter can cause serious damage, and had I not double‑checked before leaving on vacation, the consequences could have been costly. I tried to give them another chance with a later oil change. This time, I asked to have the truck greased as well—basic service for a place literally called Grease Monkey. I was told the grease gun was broken. When I mentioned this at checkout, the person at the counter said it was the first he’d heard of it. No communication, no alternative solution, no upsell, no customer care. A shop that sends a customer away with no air filter at all, doesn’t communicate internally, and can’t perform the services its name is built on is not a shop that has your best interest at heart. At minimum, if a replacement part isn’t available, the old one should be reinstalled and the customer advised to replace it as soon as possible. That’s basic responsibility. Mesquite has a reputation for businesses taking advantage of the older community, and unfortunately this experience fits that pattern. The lack of attention, communication, and care could have caused real damage to my vehicle. The front‑desk employee seemed genuinely surprised when I explained what had happened, but surprise doesn’t fix the problem. I would not trust this location with my vehicle again. A shop that can’t ensure something as simple—and essential—as an air filter is not a shop I can rely on for safe, competent service.
