My recent experience with SIXT turned out excellent thanks to Tara in the return department. I came in for a car exchange because my previous car had multiple issues, and I was already frustrated — especially since my company has been renting cars from SIXT for years. We have over 60+ cars rented across the country every month, and I was seriously considering canceling our service because of the inconvenience.
But Tara completely changed that. She even remembered me from when I picked up my previous car, and that personal touch immediately made me feel valued. Her warm smile, friendly attitude, and genuinely funny personality made a huge difference. She put me at ease right away and turned a stressful situation into a positive one. Tara handled the entire exchange with patience and professionalism, and she explained everything clearly, making the process smooth and stress-free.
The desk team also deserves strong credit they stepped in right away, understood the situation, and did everything they could to make things right. Their communication was clear, they were respectful, and they even offered me a free upgrade as a
thank you for being a loyal customer. That gesture really showed that they appreciate long-time clients.
I also want to acknowledge the manager at this location. He was supportive, professional, and made sure everything was handled properly. It’s clear he runs a strong team that actually cares about customer satisfaction.

First time booking with this company and what a mistake. Never again.
Booked via Orbitz and when we got to the counter wanted my husband as the driver. Sarah said they can't change to him because it was booked through a third party. Never had this issue with budget, enterprise or Alamo. We paid in full months in advance and now we are stuck with a reservation we can't use. She said she will cancel on her part and Orbitz will see her note so we can get a refund. I even asked to confirm and she said yes she put a note. She even explained the process that Orbitz will call their customer service department that handles it and they will see the note she placed a cancellation. My husband and I both thanked her. We did not cancel, we were there trying to pick up what we rented and paid for.
To get the car we rented we had to pay again. This company got paid twice., by Orbitz then us at the counter. Now comes the part of dealing with both Orbitz and SIXT customer service, neither one cared and both said there was no note from Sarah. Neither would refund, all we got was a sorry we understand your frustration. We got 1 car and paid twice. After a week still waiting on our deposit to be put back to our card.
Bad service! Bad car! Sticking with Alamo for Las Vegas airport rentals. They may charge more but the service and cars are better.

This place is a total scam. If you got a great deal on a rental, it is because they are going to create a false damage claim against you. I rented a car, drove it to my rental, parked it in a closed garage and drove it back to the airport. At check in the employee walked around the vehicle, said everything was good. Then 1 week later, I get an email that there is a scratch on the hood and a bill for $777. The picture is so close in you cannot tell what vehicle it is, how long the scratch is, there is not date or time on the photo. Total SCAM!!

My family and I rented an SUV from Sixt Rent A Car at the Las Vegas Airport in September 2025. When we got the car, we noticed some unreported damage, used the Sixt Online system to register the damage AND flagged the damage to the attendant in the Sixt lot.
We had the car for 4 days, barely using it. When we returned it, the attendant looked at the car and noted the same damage that we had already noted and issued a "No New Damage" return sheet.
About a month after we returned home, Sixt sent us a letter claiming that we had caused damage to the car (the same damage that I had initially identified to Sixt). I sent Sixt an email (to the claims department), attaching the No New Damage issued return sheet and Sixt has proceeded to ignore my emails for a number of weeks and have sent emails demanding payment.
I still cannot get Sixt to repond to my emails.
Seems obvious that someone at Sixt missed the damage before we rented the car and Sixt is trying to offload the cost of its error onto us - all this despite Sixt issuing a No New Damage return sheet when we returned the car.
Renter beware - very unethical stuff going on here.

So I had never rented from this company before, and after our experience last night, we will ONLY rent from Sixt going forward. Evan was our agent and he immediately greeted us and made us feel very comfortable with his genuinely warm and friendly personality. We had been traveling all day and we were tired and ready to get to our hotel. Evan went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were well taken care of. He was quick and efficient and at the same time without feeling rushed, all while giving us five star treatment. I really can't say enough good things about how well Evan handled things for us. He is a professional in every sense. The car we were given was clean and in perfect condition. The price was literally the best price I found across all the other options. I have rented several cars from other companies over the last 20 years and I can confidently say this was by far the best company I have ever used. Thank you Evan for taking such good care of us after such a long day, you are an awesome human!
