    I am an Executive Elite member and always have the best service. This last rental in LAS, I had a set time for a reservation and for a specific premium 4 wheel drive, as our family was going on a ski trip. I waited over an hour for them to find me the car I had Both a confirmation and confirmed reservation. They first could not find the premium SUV and then when they did find a few of those vehicle vehicles, none of them were four-wheel-drive. They finally found the correct vehicle, but it put our trip behind as we were trying to avoid a snow storm. This was disappointing.

    Slow and error prone at LAS airport location. It started with the airport counter when I wanted to add an authorized driver. The agent was nice and said my profile was not uptodate and took around 30 min to update, writing down all personal details on a paper for some reasons. In "updating" profile, she removed my free day redemption and emerald club info. At pick up, John was nice enough to give us an upgrade to a 7 seater as I was travelling with family. But at the final checkout, the agent took another 30 minutes writing down all personal details again for some reasons. After reaching hotel, I noticed that the emerald club info was not used and free day was removed, I contacted customer service online and they said they have notified the branch but can't add my emerald club info themselves. Overall I got my car around 90 mins after the listed time on the rental agreement as "pickup" time. Things got weirder at return. At return time, airport agents could not find the reservation??? They said the car was not attached to the reservation so they asked for all the personal info YET again and asked me to just leave and she will send me the reciept once she opens and closes the rental which "wont happen in 5-10 minutes". When I asked for some sort of proof that I have returned the car, the agent got visibly upset and started becoming rude, so I stepped outside and waited. After a while she came out and gave me the receipt, which had charges for 3 days instead of 2 days. When I enquired she said there is only 29 min grace period and dint want to account for pick up delays and the drop off delays because of the reservation assignment. She was becoming visible frustrated and started behaving rude again so I left, and thanks to online customer service, got my timing adjusted and charge for third day removed. Usually National is my preferred rental car (I am executive elite) for their seamless experience and nicer cars, but LAS location seems to be living in old times with some agents with no service etiquette, slow, manual and error prone paperwork.

    Purchased a 4x4/AWD rental. Employee directed me to a Durango GT as they are "4x4". Loaded up and couldn't find anything indicating this. Crawled under the front of the car and no axles up front meaning RWD. Argued with the attendant he was wrong and they got us something else. Took the vehicle and noticed damage. Took pictures. Got back to return and they said I did the damage. Had to battle a snooty gal in the return line about it. Customer service cleared it with my time stamped pictures. Watch out for yourself, they don't care.

    Upon arriving at the National Emerald Aisle ahead of the holiday rush, I initially encountered an associate who was quite dismissive. When I inquired about an SUV, I was promptly informed—without a greeting—that it would cost an additional $40 per day. Having rented from several major airports, I have never experienced such a response when selecting a vehicle from the aisle. However, the situation improved significantly when Paul approached me. As I was selecting a pickup truck, Paul personally brought me the keys and wished me a Merry Christmas. This simple act of kindness was greatly appreciated, especially during such a high-stress season. Paul’s professionalism and customer-first attitude have earned my repeat business, far outweighing the short-term revenue the first associate was seeking. I hope he can be recognized for his outstanding service and for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
