I really poor the customer service. When first time I contacted everything is fine (everything is fine when I paid. Only wants my money). When I asked for contract, state law and all what I concerns the girl aggressive and no respect Said I can't get it. She say my lawyer don't know about how works the law. The equipment is old and always said I'm no blowing enough (at least 5 or 6 times per day) I'm driving a lot. Since the equipment is installed my car is low engine power (low acceleration) and called 5 or 6 and said gonna call me back I'm still waiting... More than 2 weeks and nobody cares my car issues (before install the equipment was completely fine) I hope this review helps don't involve-contract is not was said they said in the website. This situation is embarrassing (DUI) but I paid for the service and expecting good quality service in return and I don't have it at all

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?

The installation of an ignition interlock device, often called a car breathalyzer, typically costs between $70 and $150. This one-time fee is paid at the start of your lease and covers the service center's labor to install the device in your vehicle. Payment is made directly to the service center at the time of installation. For more on cost breakdowns, you can read our cost of ignition interlock device guide.
