The employee (Harvey) refused the return and told me I had to go back to the exact store where I bought it. That contradicts AutoZone’s return policy as I understand it. What made it worse was the attitude: he rudely asked for my name, then immediately said, “Oh, I can see it in my system,” in a way that felt dismissive and intentionally humiliating. If you don’t want to help, fine — but don’t treat customers like they’re a problem for simply trying to do a standard return. I won’t be coming back to this location.
