I returned an oil pump and received a receipt showing the refund was “approved.” The purchase had originally been made using two debit cards: a DoorDash Crimson card and a KedPlasma Fintwist Mastercard. After the refund was processed, $8 was successfully returned to my Crimson card. However, the remaining $100 that was supposed to go to the Fintwist card never appeared. I went back to the store to show them the issue. The store manager, Jose Arana, became rude and treated me as if I was trying to scam the store. I was told to wait 5 business days and the conversation was dismissed without addressing the problem. Because the issue was not resolved, I contacted corporate at AutoZone. During that call, I was advised to contact my bank and dispute the charge as unauthorized. I explained that I was uncomfortable doing that because the purchase was legitimate and I did not want to lie to my bank. The representative then acknowledged my concern and escalated the issue. I simply want the $100 refund processed correctly without being asked to file a false bank dispute.

I went in to get a refund for a melling oil pump I had the receipt in hand, well the refund didn't go through and when I went back to speak about it Jose Arana was really rude trying to intimate/and giving the whole I'm an old Hispanic I'm a tough guy because I grew up in the hood attitude. I called corporate and their suggestions was to dispute the transaction instead of helping me. So basically I had to call my bank to dispute the transaction because they didn't want to help me, I felt like Jose Arana was trying to pocket my refund for himself. Vegas drive is definitely the worst store in Las Vegas. If you don't like your job go get a new one but don't take out on costumers .

I’m not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but this experience is worth mentioning. I called this store ahead of time to ask if a tool I needed was available for rental. I was assured on the phone after verifying they had the product that yes it was available for rental. I drive 30 minutes to this specific location and a woman who had a “sales manager” name tag asked if I needed help. I don’t know her name but my receipt says Reg #03 and CSR #41. This was at approx. 12:30pm today. I tell her I need to rent a tool, she checks for the product and asks me if the product she was looking at on the computer was correct because it’s over $300. I tell her that unfortunately yes that’s the one. Her eyes immediately lit up and I ask to check that it’s still available to rent. She assures me happily that yes it’s available to rent. She leaves to grab the product for over 10 minutes. It was long enough for the young man at the register notice and ask if I was being helped to which I told him yes I’m still waiting for her. After so long, he goes to check himself to see where she is. Very soon after she walks out with the box and another gentleman behind her. This man served as the “bad cop” and proceeded to tell me that the tool is actually not available for rent or returns. At this point I have to make a phone call to my mechanic because this changes things drastically. The woman, seemingly disinterested in me all of a sudden, tries to wave another customer over. When no one needed help she quickly left to talk to a coworker and then left entirely out of view during my two minute phone call. So I see that she ditched me and I’m looking around trying to see where she’s at so that I can pay. The younger kid is still at the register next to me and I kindly ask him if he can check me out because I’m not sure where she’s gone again. He agrees to help and we begin the checkout process. Soon after the woman quickly walks up, acting insulted that he would dare to take her sale. She proceeds to take the product back to her register and made passive aggressive comments to the young man in the process. At this point, too much of my time, patience, and money had been wasted and I was just ready to leave. While I was paying she proceeded to whisper to me and told me I can come back and return it. At this point, I trust this lady as far as I can throw her. She had already lied to my face and disappeared because she was (presumably) trying to figure out how to backtrack about lying to my face. And because of that I was neglected and my time was wasted. I wasn’t going to bother writing a review about it but now that i’m reflecting on the interaction, I feel it’s important to let the management at this store and any future customers know that the female sales manager at this store needs more training on how to treat customers like human beings and not commission cash cows. And to also treat her coworkers with more compassion and respect. That young man that helped me was the only employee that was genuinely concerned about my experience at this store. The female sales manager on the other hand, got excited about a large sale, jumped the gun and lied to me about the rental policy before having all the information, and then proceeded to neglect me and disrespect her coworker in the process. I wish I had told her no I want this young man to help me instead but it is what it is. I will be taking my business to O’Riley’s from now on because of that particular sales manager and the person on the phone giving me misinformation as well. I hope the young man that helped me finds a better job environment with coworkers that show him the respect he deserves.

I had a tech named Javier today. He was so knowledgeable and amazing! I had a crappy battery and he not only found me a great deal on a new one but he also installed it for me. I was so grateful to have Javier. I'll be using this location each time I need assistance
