I would rate this place below 1 star if I could. My friend rented a car through priceline and came to check in. The person at the check in desk whom name is Daniel was absolutely unacceptable attitude at the end. When Daniel asked my friend to opt in for the insurance. He already showed his attitude when my friend explain that he purchased insurance online. Daniel raised his voice like "just tell me yes or no" and he said again "extra for nothing". It's very unprofessional when you talk to the customer like that. I heard it, but I still didn't say anything. Because maybe he has a bad day. Then my friend gave him credit card and signed the paper. I told my friend to make sure the insurance he purchased through priceline cover for the car. If not he has to purchase the insurance with Alamo. After my friend asked Daniel, Daniel kind of up set. Only God knows why? He said "I work for Alamo not priceline". And at the end he said" I don't like you, I'm not gonna rent the car to you. I'm gonna void the contract". I was surprised and sock at the same time. I asked him nicely "you don't have to do that, please continue process the paper so we can get the car and leave". And he told me "I don't like him. I'm gonna void the contract". My friend said sorry to him twice because we didn't want it to become a big deal like this. But he still didn't care. So I have to take my phone out to record the conversation because we didn't asked to void the contract. I told Daniel " My friend apologized to you twice, please make it easy for us. Give us the paper so we all can move on". But he still voided and told us to go on priceline and book it again. He told me I can talked to the manager if I want to when I told him I will file complaint about this. Of course I want to talk to the manager. When we met the manager who name is Issac, I told him exactly the same thing what was happened and he can review the camera to fact check my words. And I said I didn't want him to do anything about Daniel. I just want him to reopen the agreement, so we can pick up the car and leave. Because we have many luggages and bags. Issac didn't even look at the camera, and told us to go to another rental car company in a very calmly voice. Big shock to me this time, what kind of manager of a branch tell customer to go and do business with the competitor. I always believe we all deserve good treatment as a customer. I put my times out to write this review and also will call their customer support to file a complaint. Hopefully they will have a better attitude towards other customers in the future. As a result of this drama, we went to next door and rent the car with Dollar rental. Everything went smoothly as the lady at the front is very professional and talk to us nicely.

Awesome car rental experience by Alamo. The pre-check-in experience was very easy and helped us go straight to our vehicle on arrival. We rented a premium SUV and had 9 different vehicles to choose from when we arrived. The attendant scanned our QR code and told us to pick whichever vehicle we wanted. The vehicle pickup area is upstairs at the rent-a-car facility in Las Vegas, but the escalators are directly beside the Alamo desk area. The Wagoneer we rented was in excellent condition and experienced zero maintenance issues during the week that we drove it around the dessert. The return process was fast and efficient. Make sure you return it with a full tank of gas...lol.

We arrived at LAS during a busy convention week and there were lines at Budget and Avis (owned by the same local company). We originally booked Budget, but was never able to get a person on the phone to ask questions to despite weeks of trying. The same was true with Avis. However, Alamo/Enterprise/National had no lines or very small lines comparatively in person and we were able to speak to several staff members at LAS to answer questions on the phone prior to arrival. We immediately switched our Costco reservation after that experience and reading the reviews on google map. I also have no preferred status with Alamo but have status with Avis. Smooth rental car experience - with preregistration in their app. No pushy staff for extras or insurance. All done through the app or website well in advance. No surprise surcharges upon return of the car. Simple. Able to drive the car across the country if we wanted to unlike the Budget/Avis contract that limited us to a few surrounding states from Las Vegas. Car was clean, well maintained, and safe. The car was low milage (around 2500 miles) and had apple/android auto (Pathfinder 2026). The only thing that was an issue was the long list of old renters phone information was still stored in the car's history. Reminder to all renters to remove your phone from the car's infotanment when you return it. Mark (aka Marky Mark), the attendant in the garage, was the most helpful person during our trip. He asked well appointed questions and provided us with great answers to get us the information we needed and recommended the car that saved our trip. He was more than helpful, professional, and compassionate. He approached our family in the garage and greeted us immediately to guide us to our car. Shout out to Marky Mark!

Very disappointing experience at the Las Vegas Airport Alamo. I called ahead and was told my reservation, ID, and payment method would all be accepted. When I arrived around 1:00 AM, none of that information was honored. The manager on duty, Akbar, was unprofessional and dismissive, while a team lead named Dee tried to help but was overruled. I was given a different vehicle than I reserved, told it had a different rate, but was still charged my original price with no adjustment or updated agreement. This involved misinformation, poor customer service, and billing issues.
