  More issues after repair and lack of communication! We would like to share our personal experience and encourage others to be cautious. We had injector seal work carried out on our Land Rover Defender Td5. Shortly after the repair, during a test at idle, the engine developed serious issues, including knocking sounds, heavy smoke, and visible diesel leakage. When the mechanic noticed this, the engine was immediately shut off. As a result, we lost confidence in the repair and had the vehicle towed to another workshop in Arizona. There, an independent TD5 specialist inspected the vehicle. Based on their assessment, it appeared that an injector O-ring had been installed incorrectly. We were informed that this caused a significant amount of diesel into the engine, which could have potentially led to serious engine damage if the engine had continued running. This situation resulted in additional costs for us, including transport, accommodation, and further repairs at the second workshop. After that, we contacted Imperial Auto & Truck Service Center to discuss the matter, but unfortunately did not receive any response - neither by phone nor in writing. We consider this lack of communication to be highly unprofessional and disappointing. That is not how travelers should be treated. We understand that mistakes can happen in any workshop. However, based on our personal experience, the combination of the initial issue and the lack of follow-up left us really concerned. Based on our experience, we would never return to this workshop and recommend that others be cautious when having work carried out here!

  First experience with them. Friendly, polite, took about an hour for oil change, tire rotation, fluid checks, etc. I have to use full synthetic and wanted to use a coupon they had available for a "routine" oil change so they deducted the savings I would have had if I had used the coupon. Significantly less expensive than other quick change operations and they are full service.

  I truly appreciate this shop and the people working here. Backstory my wife is 2 months pregnant, high risk, and on bed rest, aside from Dr appointments, when we discovered there was a leak coming from her transmission. When I called chevy they gave me the run around and said they would need the car 2-4 days before they could even approve a loaner car, (knowing my wife was high risk and had Dr appointments and I have to work they still did nothing to help when the car is under warranty) So i brought it here and was willing to just pay out of pocket for convenience and to know my wife is driving safely. The Imperial auto team is beyond helpful and compassionate. I was helped by Larry, Terri And Jeremey. All 3 of them were amazing. They cared when I explained what was going on and the situation with my wife, They checked the car out right away and when the discovered what it was, instead of taking my money and doing the work they ALL said this for sure 100% needs to go to the dealership to be covered under warranty. They were very good at communicating, showed me exactly what was wrong and the fact that they could have taken who knows how much to fix this, but turned me away so it didn't cost me anything and help my family financially, Is something you don't see anymore. Super grateful for these 3. They had great knowledge and gave great advice. I will be back to give them my money for other Services. The difference of dealing with this shop vs the Chevy dealership has been night and day, and the customer service from Larry, Terri and Jeremey has earned my business moving forward. Thank you 3 for being different in todays world of crap.
