Good luck! Staff is incredibly worthless. Put you on hold forever. Go there in person and they have no customers but still wont help you. Just order parts from someone online.

Bought a car battery 10 months ago. The car didn't start this morning in a parking lot in Reno. I called and spoke with a nice young lady told her my story and she said I could talk to her boss but he was on the phone and if I was willing to wait I could talk to him. So I waited a couple of minutes and he finally got on the phone but wasn't too happy about it. I had to buy another replacement from O'Reilly since it was closer. I tried to get in-store credit at AutoZone because it was still under warranty in less than a year old and they said no. I was talking to an older gentleman named Carl. I let him know that I bought a brand new battery from them. And it was completely dead. And I wanted to talk about options or in-store credit because of the failed battery so I told him the story of what had happened He said and?...?I said and... it's less than 10 months old and he said yeah? And.... I said I would like to get my money back or exchange for in-store credit. He said no and asked me why was I so cheap and got the cheap battery I said the battery?I said it's still under warranty it's less than a year old. He then asked why didn't I take the battery to AutoZone and just Simply exchange it? I told him we just got done with the procedure and my wife was still under anesthesia when it happened and I just wanted to get my poor wife home and get the car running and I would figure it out later. He said well...... still.... I told him obviously you have a attitude problem. He said well no!!! I am just tired of dealing with stupid people and then hung up on me. I was absolutely Blown Away. I called back and asked for a supervisor. I spoke with his boss(Ed) a nice guy. He said he definitely shouldn't have talked to me like that especially since it was under 1 year warranty and everything he said to me was irrelevant anyways. He said but still he should not have said that to you because you were just asking for options. It's amazing to me that a guy that deals with customers all day and is in the service department talks to people that way let alone customers of AutoZone. At any rate since I spend on average 4200 a year there Carl must bring in an awful lot of new customers so I guess I will take my stupid self to O'Reilly's. And I will let everyone I know to start going to O'Reilly's as well. Sorry Ed you were very nice. but damage done was finalized when I came in to exchange the battery.Carl wouldn't even look me in the eyes let alone claim his own BS and apologize Man to men

Most parts can be ordered & picked up the same day. If not, you probably don't need it.

Memphis at this auto zone needs a raise! That kid helped me get a new battery, replaced it, and did it all with a smile. The best customer service I’ve had at an auto zone, give him a raise!!!!!
