- CJClayton JasminJan 18, 20255.0Went there with a 5-gallon gas can. Pump filled it exactly where it should stop at exactly 5 gallons... So obviously pump is calibrated correctly. Some people look at their gas gauge and believe they know exactly how much gas should go in their vehicle...🙄 The world doesn't work that way... It's a lot more logical to think your gas gauge is not going to be 100% accurate then to believe a federally regulated pump is going to be cheating you a few cents here or there
