  The upgraded premium car was selected only because it was the only one with winter tires and we knew we would need them. They should have more options on standard cars or SUV’s. They charged $107 for a premium location fee for renting at the airport, complete bullshit! Then they scammed us, which we didn’t notice, they changed our initial unlimited mileage to a daily rate. We will never rent from them again and I highly recommend you do not either. If you do, review your charges elsewhere you’ll get screwed!

  Upon returning the vehicle, I ensured it was filled with a full tank of gasoline. However, I noticed an additional charge of $7.04 on my bill that was applied without any explanation or prior communication. When I returned the vehicle, I also spoke with the manager (Mark, if I recall correctly) regarding a concern involving one of the staff members. While I briefly stopped at the front entrance to drop off my family and our luggage, so they would not have to carry heavy bags from the parking area, a staff member walked past us and gave my family and myself an uncomfortable, judgmental look. The interaction felt unwelcoming, unprofessional and super embarrassing. Also, I was advised by the manager that I would be contacted if there were any concerns about the rental; however, I did not receive any communication before the additional charge was applied. Very disappointing, unacceptable and very unprofessional conduct.

  The staff were great and worked well together. Service was prompt, efficient, and accurate to my reservation. The car was beautiful—brand new with great features. I was able to sync my phone in less than a minute and have a familiar interface even though I drive a different make and model at home.

  The service and support from Alamo has been very good in the different Provinces and States I have used them in. So far hassle free and a fair price. I hope to be able to continue their services in the future.
