  Overall, the reservation process went smoothly, and everything appeared well-organized. However, customers should be aware of potential hidden fees. At the time of booking, we were given a specific price, but the final invoice included unexpected surcharges due to what was described as a “busy period” in October. In addition, we live approximately five hours away from Halifax and have an Enterprise branch in our own city. Despite this, the representative clearly stated that the vehicle had to be returned specifically to the Halifax Airport location, which was quite inconvenient. For a company with numerous branches across Canada, I found this policy disappointing and unnecessarily restrictive. While the service itself was fine, I would not recommend Enterprise Halifax Airport based on this experience.

  I had another great rental experience with Enterprise Rent-a-Car, this Halifax airport location was super helpful to work with. Firstly, it was very easy to pick up our reserved car, a Toyota Camry, which was clean and well maintained. Then during our trip, we accidentally locked the keys in the trunk of the vehicle whilst in Digby, and after calling the Kentville Toyota dealership realized that there was no way to get the keys out even with access to the inside of the car. We called to roadside assistance line for Enterprise, and spoke with Corey who was very helpful arranging a tow from Digby back to the Halifax airport service lot. When we arrived 2 &1/2 hours later, Wayne at the service centre helped us get into a new vehicle within minutes, and promised to call us later when they were able to get in the trunk and recover the keys and our luggage. We received a call the same evening, letting us know we could pick up our bags anytime at their counter in the airport and keep the new Hyundai for the rest of our trip. When we returned the second car, we were still able to do an express return and there were no additional fees or charges due to the mishap with the first car. Enterprise earned my lifetime loyalty in 2014 at the Toronto airport helping my family when Budget failed us, and proved to us again why they are the best rental car company to deal with. 10/10 would use their rental services again. Thank you to Wayne, Corey and the rest of the Enterprise-Rent-a-Car team at the Halifax airport!

  Great rental experience! Everything went smoothly from check-in to return. The car 🚘 was super comfortable & clean, easy to drive, and came with unlimited mileage at a very fair price for a 10 day rental. I also liked that it didn’t have a rental company stickers, so it felt just like driving a local car 🚙. The staff were really polite and helpful. I’d definitely rent here again. ❤️ 💜 ❤️ 💜 ❤️. Thanks to Enterprise for having me.
