  Huid de esta compañía. Teníamos la reserva desde hace meses. Llegamos y no está el coche disponible. Habíamos cogido 100% eléctrico porque es más barato que gasolina y porque hay más puntos de carga eléctricos que gasolineras en Senja que es donde vamos. La única alternativa que nos dan es un coche gasolina o esperar mínimo 1h a que llegue el otro coche, que luego tendrían que lavar y demás. Su compensación era añadirnos un conductor adicional gratis, pero ni siquiera nos hacía falta. Total, que al final hemos tenido que aceptarlo. Nos ha cambiado todos los planes. Además, el coche nada más montarnos está bastante sucio. En fin… un desastre.

  My flight was delayed, so I knew I would arrive outside of business hours. To avoid any issues, I called in advance to arrange the vehicle pickup. Unfortunately, this turned into a very stressful experience. I spent nearly an hour trying to reach the office by phone during their stated business hours, but no one answered. As my flight departure was approaching, I became increasingly concerned that I would be left without a car, especially since my hotel was about two hours from Narvik. After more than an hour, I was finally able to get through and resolve the situation. When I arrived, I was able to collect the keys from the lockbox as instructed. However, the email stated that the car was parked in P2, when in reality it was located in P4. As a result, we spent almost 30 minutes searching for the vehicle in the rain and cold while carrying our luggage. The car itself was excellent, and we had no issues with it throughout the rental. It was in great condition and made for a very enjoyable driving experience. When returning the car, we encountered a similar issue. Although we arrived during the company’s advertised business hours, the kiosk was already closed. We tried calling for assistance, but once again, no one answered the phone. In the end, we dropped the key off, recorded the process for our own peace of mind, and hoped there would be no issues afterward. I have rented from Alamo several times before and have always found the company to be reliable. Aside from the communication difficulties, we did not experience any major problems with this location. However, future customers should be aware that getting in touch with the local office can be extremely difficult if you need assistance. *I paid full insurance and would recommend that to avoid any problems*

  Leide ID3 eller lignende el-bil i juni. Ved avhenting hadde de angivelig kun en Yaris bensin inne. De fortalte at de øvrige bilene hadde vinterdekk, og de måtte skiftes først. Da vi kom ut hadde også bilen vi fikk utlevert vinterdekk. I tillegg var sannsynligvis et jullager defekt. Uendelig mye bråk i bilen, og lyden kom opplagt ikke bare fra vinterdekkene. Mange telefoner. Ble lovet kompensasjon, da de ikke kunne bytte bil, forutsatt at det var noe galt med bilen. Endte med at vi etter hjemkomst, og først på etterspørsel, fikk beskjed om at verkstedet ikke kunne finne noen feil. Bråket skulle skyldes vinterdekkene. Vi ba om å få se verkstedrapporten, da vi ikke stolte på Alamos ansatte. De oppga at verkstedet de brukte ikke ga ut noen verkstedrapport. Norvik Toyota verksted i Harstad angir på telefon at de alltid leverer ut en verkstedrapport. Alamo tilbød til slutt å slå av det vi hadde betalt for en ekstra sjåfør. Altså minimalt. Mitt råd: Styr unna Alamo, og også Enterprice. De har samme betjening. Det finnes også seriøse bilutleiefirmaer på Evenes.

  I was a bit worried before my trip because I had read a lot of negative reviews about Alamo in Narvik. However, my experience was the complete opposite. The pickup process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were friendly and professional. The car I received was excellent, clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed for my trip. Returning the vehicle was just as easy. The staff member who handled the return was very kind and helpful, and the security deposit was released immediately without any issues. Everything was exactly as promised, and I honestly couldn't find anything to complain about. The entire experience was straightforward, stress-free, and professional from start to finish.
