  Car wasn't ready for pick up because it needed to be cleaned. After waiting 45 minutes we got a car - the outside wasn't clean, and inside there a used snuss packed. The car also had a tyre pressure warning when turned on. We checked the tire pressure at a gas station and it was fine. Suggesting to us a issue with the cars computer system. Later the car, a hybrid, wouldn't turn on when we went to get off a ferry. Luckily the ferry crew could give us a jump start. We called Alamo Bodo. Asked them to arrange a replacement car at there nearest location. It was a 90 minute detour. And already after 5pm. So we called that location to check opening hours. Whilst doing this the person we were speaking to made a comment along the lines of "cars are always going in and out" this left us wondering if they actually had a car there for us or were relying on a car to be returned. When we asked for a yes or no answer to the question of whether they physically had a car for us they refused to give a yes or no answer. Leaving us worried there was a non zero chance that there would not be a car. When we asked to speak to someone else or a manager, in the hope of being able to speak to someone that could answer a yes or no question with a yes or no answer the employee said he was the only person there. Funnily enough when we got to the location there were 4 employees there. The fact the employee lied about being the only person there reinforces the our suspicion we couldn't trust the employee we were speaking too. Not impressed! Note Alamo in Norway appear to be the same as Enterprise.

  Attention, en cas de panne , c'est un loueur qui n'est pas fiable et compétent lors d'une location pour les îles lofoten au mois de juin. Un premier dépannage effectué tardivement, payé avec la promesse d'un remboursement. Il ́n'a toujours pas ete effectué. 5 anomalies de démarrage suivantes durant notre séjour, aucune aide du loueur. À fuir...

  We had a great experience renting our car at Alamo for our two weeks trip. The car we got was really nice and the rate we paid was by far the lowest compared to the other car rentals in Bodø. We also had to extend our rent on the day of return by one further day, which was no problem at all and for a very fair rate. The contact via phone or mail was great. Also pick-up and return for the car was quick and easy. Would definitely choose Alamo again when I visit Bodø again.

  Ho noleggiato un’auto all’aeroporto di bordo per 10 giorni.oggi ho un problema di salute chiedo di far guidare mio marito. Da stamattina alle nove , ora è sera ,chiedo una risposta e la signorina mi dice che deve chiedere al suo boss. 5 chiamate e continua a dirmi che non sa come fare perché il boss è in vacanza.siamo bloccati senza nessuna risposta. Nessuna attenzione al cliente. DA EVIATARE
