- RRRGJul 14, 20241.0Short review: shady, suspicious-looking, uneducated young men steal things from your car and break equipment. Detailed review: I hate this place. The first time we used them, we needed the windshield replaced after it shattered on the highway while driving 65 mph. There was glass all over the interior, so the Safelite guys vacuumed it and helped themselves to some valuables they found under the seats. The manager said we couldn’t prove his guys took it. During our second visit, we were met with disrespectful behavior from the staff. One of the men berated us for being a few minutes late, to the point where he refused to help us. His use of disrespectful language was shocking. We were left with no choice but to accept help from another staff member, as it was 20 degrees outside and we needed a window. The third time, the men dropped and broke the replacement rear window that we had waited a whole week for. We heard the crash; he came out and said they had broken our window and we would need to wait another week for one to be ordered and shipped. Do you think we got an apology? NO. If you use Safelite in Santa Fe, expect the cheapest labor, the most uncivilized people, and the worst customer service experience. You have been warned.

Safelite sent me email communications to confirm, remind, and how to best prepare for the appointment. Upon arrival, the staff were responsive, informative and friendly. There were email updates during the servicing, and the work was done well within the promised time frame, and post service instructions were clear and helpful. Altogether it was excellent service.
