We stopped for fuel and restrooms at 11:30 on a Tuesday evening, and when I asked the cashier about a code for the restroom, she told me “the restroom is closed.” There was zero expression of empathy for the situation, and she didn’t even make eye contact with me. The troubling part of the experience was the individuals loitering around the entrance as I walked in with my young child. I recommend stopping at another of the stations further west and skipping this one.
