- AAAFeb 12, 20261.0I paid for a brake fluid “flush” at this Jiffy Lube because my brake fluid tested high for copper (around 300 ppm). After the service, another shop tested it and it was still high (around 200 ppm) and the fluid still looked dark. When I called to ask why, the store manager told me (and then confirmed with the district supervisor) that their brake fluid service is NOT a full flush in the normal sense. Their policy is simply to drain fluid for a set amount of time (he said about 10 minutes) and then stop — not to fully bleed the system at all four wheels until clean fluid comes out, and not to bring the copper reading down to a low/clean level. In other words: they sell it as a “flush,” but what you’re actually buying is a partial fluid exchange done for a fixed amount of time. After admitting this, the only remedy they offered was a $25 discount, which is not meaningful given the service was not what most customers reasonably understand a brake fluid flush to be. One note: the employee Christopher was very polite and professional throughout. The issue here is the company policy and how the service is represented. Very disappointed. If you want a real brake fluid flush, go to an actual mechanic shop.

I called around to multiple shops looking to get things replaced as early the next morning as I could so I could still make it into work at a reasonable time. After 3 places told me they couldn't do it before noon, I called Chris Rodriguez at 730 am (30 minutes before they opened) and he told me to come in and he'd get things checked out before they opened. Chris got me in and out within 30 minutes and I didn't have to rearrange my day. Our family is so appreciative for his kindness and understanding of the situation. Cannot recommend his service enough.
