You better go up there and have everything exactly ready and not take it personally when she throws her pen and gives you attitude for existing. You’ll only be able to get a rental car with a credit card and when you only have a debit card and they run it before realizing they can’t assist you, it’ll be a week til the transaction clears even though you didn’t get the car. When you call customer service you’ll have to call three times and be comfortable getting hung up on. Worst rental car company I’ve ever rented from. This location is awful but their corporate phone support has been equally challenging to navigate. Never had this kind of problem or service with other rental companies

I was told to come in to the counter to put the charges on a new credit card since my other card still had the incidentals hold. At the counter, they told me to drive around to renew the contract with the new card at which point they charged me $75 for gas and tried to charge me a $150 "drop fee". After that, they told me it was close to $900 to renew!!! I said I want to go back to my old contract with is prepaid through tomorrow and they said I can't do that! Now I'm stranded 14 hours from home with my kids and bags at the airport! This is highly unethical!

It was easy to pick up no line, they let me pick from 4 or 5 different cars all were lower mileage and looked good. We choose the Hyundai, car was in good condition and clean. I would definitely rent from Alamo again. Easy check in and easy drop off!
