I put it back up, but now my window does not roll down. I was there from nine in the morning all the way till close super frustrating. Wish I wouldn’t have went with them.
- AAaggroJan 27, 20264.0I paid extra for a heated windshield replacement, but the car was returned with multiple undisclosed issues: scrapes along the frame, a new interior rattle, poorly reinstalled trim with broken pieces left inside, and most concerning, a completely severed wiring harness for the heated windshield with bare wires exposed. The feature I paid for did not even function. This was extremely disappointing. Customers should be able to trust that work is done properly and honestly, not discover hidden damage after the fact. That said, I do want to commend the owner, Walter Dill. He could not have known this occurred, yet he stepped up and worked with me to have the windshield replaced and the issue corrected, even though it was discovered about a year and a half after the original installation. He stepped up and took pride in his business and its reputation. I was also told the original installer is no longer employed here. The situation is now resolved, but only because I investigated it myself. I would strongly encourage others to carefully inspect their vehicle after service.
