I had a very disappointing experience with Camping World.
We purchased a Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite and have only used it a handful of times. Recently, we brought it in for a few minor issues that clearly should have been covered under warranty. Instead, every single claim was denied and labeled as “normal wear and tear,” which is honestly hard to believe given how little the trailer has been used.
To make matters worse, we were still charged an inspection fee just to be told that nothing would be covered. This is on top of paying extra for an extended warranty. At that point, you really have to ask: what’s the point of the extended warranty if even the smallest issues get denied?
What’s frustrating is how different the experience is before versus after the sale. When you’re buying, they’re more than willing to go above and beyond. But when problems come up, it feels like they completely look the other direction.
Unfortunately, I can now say from personal experience that many of the negative reviews out there are accurate. I really wanted to have a better experience, but this was not it.

The Salesperson #041021 at the Albuquerque camping world was anything but helpful, rude, preoccupied with his phone was just eager to check us out. We were asking about several different items and with a Big Sigh he would say “ well it’s anywhere from $150 to $450” another item my husband was asking if it was interchangeable with a couple of your brands and without skipping a beat “ No this is it” when my husband said I spoke with someone and they said they had 4, in stock could you check? His reply “No this is it” so I guess Amazon will again get our business

They are good at taking your money. Thats about all the credit I'll give em at this store.I bought a new freshjet a.c. for $2200. Ofcourse they didn't tell me before hand that dometic was still working the bugs out.Thermostat, distribution box,rj11 to rj45 connectors sold separately ofcourse.I took off old unit and put new unit on. Installed the 4 bolts and was gonna bring in so they could finish the upgrade. One day they say they would do it and the next day they say they won't because I installed the 4 bolts myself pretty much. Got the same shitty service in saukeville,wi. Where I got the camper. (This store is now closed). Green Bay is the only store that has good service and fills you in on things BEFORE you spend a couple grand in my opinion. . Rothschild also gave good service. This store not so much.Like I said. They sure are good at taking your money.Punished for trying to save a buck.

Okay, where do I even begin to thank this team?! They totally deserve more than 5 stars! It was back in 2017, and we were heading from Georgia to the Grand Canyon – a trip we'd been planning for three years with two other couples. Sadly, our 5th-wheel's roof ripped on the way. We called so many repair places, but everyone was booked weeks out, just to get looked at. We kept calling ahead, and it was the same story. We were about to give up on our trip, so we called this Camping World and talked to the shop manager. I explained what happened, and he got it right away. He said it was the right thing to do. He promised the roof would be fixed and ready by Monday evening if we could be there Saturday at 8 am. He said he had the whole crew working overtime, and they actually did it! I have no idea how they managed, but they replaced the entire roof of our 43-foot camper in just two days. We owe this grand vacation to them. Thank you team, I wish we sent the review sooner.

We selected this location because I was told the work for an approved insurance repair and a Good Sam claim. When we got there it was confirmed they can do the work at our R.V. site. From the the person who came out for the review. (Amanda) Her Manager (Zach) they both seemed compatent. It turn out to be a show that was staged. Amanda knowing the latest we need this done is March 31st. I waited a week befor I called on a status check. I found out that she went on vacation without letting me know what was schedualed. I contacted Zach. He came out with all kinds of good ideas that never jelled. So in the end i was stuck with a gravel R.V. park that is literally in walking distance for a month with nothing done. I tried several times to get hold of them both many times. I finnally received a call from Amanda, I explained that nothing good came of all of this, but I needed a favor our pressure relief valve needed replacing. She said that Zach was the only one who could approve that. She will send a message now for him to call me today. I never received that call, I waited till closing to write this. Very disappointed.
