    Car salesman held my diabetic partners car keys hostage to attempt to coerce her to accept a trade-in under duress until her blood sugar dropped and I had to pick her up. She made it clear she was not interested and feeling unwell. Go elsewhere. Anywhere else.

    This review is NOT for the sales rep or social media rep. Einstein Zarzuela and Alessandro Ramos were excellent, and I would gladly work with them again. They are the only reason this review isn’t zero stars. The 1 star is strictly for the administrative team and the complete lack of follow-through regarding my plates and registration. I told financing I would be transferring my plates, not getting new ones. This never happened, and I was charged the full plate fee anyway. 10 days before my temp tag expired, I contacted the front desk (Joanne). I was told to “call back later,” and over the next 10 days I called repeatedly, left messages, and emailed management. Nobody followed through, nobody took ownership, and I kept getting the runaround. I repeatedly asked for a new temp tag, and no one would help — even though I am not local. Plates arrived at the dealership on 11/06/25,. Using the title I received from the state and the characters of the plate that I had to practically beg for them to give me, I had to print my own registration myself just to legally drive. I was literally driving around with an expired temp tag because the dealership would not issue a new one. The plates were shipped via FedEx, but the dealership never gave me the tracking number or told me a signature was required. FedEx left no delivery notices, so the package was sent back. The dealership then told me I had to pay for shipping again, which I did just to end the ordeal. Finally received my plates and registration on 11/20/25. All of this could have been avoided if: They had simply transferred my original plates as requested, OR They had created a new temp tag, OR Someone had returned a phone call or email. Administrative staff who failed to assist: Will Carthens (Sales Manager) Rafi Nepomuceno (Sales Manager) Juan Higuita (General Sales Manager) Joann(e) (Front Desk – extremely unhelpful for registration issues) Thank you to Einstein and Chelsea Seo, who were the only ones who actually helped.

    Rafi, Damian and Tyrone were fantastic from my first visit. I was having major challenges with Jeep having several product recalls and they would not tend to. I wanted to not only switch to a reliable brand and vehicle, but a dealership that I will continue to call home, as well as recommend any friends and family to. They were able to do everything possible to put me into the truck that I wanted while dealing with the rollover with my current vehicle. I would recommend everyone to choose East Coast as their primary Toyota dealership in NJ.

    I had the pleasure of dealing with the best salesman, Ty. I was having an issue with a car I had previously bought at East Coast Toyota and he took the time to listen to me and get me out of my previous car and put me in a new Rav 4 that I am extremely happy with. He was very knowledgeable and made the whole process smooth and seamless. I highly suggest you go see Ty and he will take very good care of you. Thanks Ty!!!!

    Richard is the man !! When I went to east coast Toyota I was nervous and had lots of questions. Richard was very informative, professional, kind, and walked me through a range of options that worked for me and answered all my questions. I went home happy and with my new 2026 Cross 🩵.
