  I came in for a patch repair on a tire and was helped by Kaelyn when I came in. She was quick with service and getting the car into the system. Once the car was on the lift Kaelyn informed me about the situation and offered options, provided by mavis. The problem could not be resolved right away but I will be returning to this Mavis shop soon to get the problem resolved, thanks to Kaelyn.

  Mavis was a great help for me! I arrived at 6:36 and it’s 7:01pm, in that small amount of time they helped me take off the cover under my car which was making so much noise anywhere I drove and took off my sensory light which I’ve had for months! They solved my car problems in such little time, for free! Thank you Mavis in Westfield!

  I returned to Mavis since one of my tires that I purchased here two years ago had a leak. Mavis inspected the tire, found a nail. Repaired the tire and reinstalled it after balancing the tire. Technician and young lady running the shop were phenomenal. Kept me informed. Westfield NJ Mavis store rocks! Highly recommend for friendly customer service.

  I originally came here to have my tires repaired because the aluminum valve stem caps were corroded and stuck. They did a good job, and I trusted that they would continue providing reliable service. Later, I brought my Audi A7 here after the dealership told me I needed a new alternator. The shop said they could order the alternator and install it for $850, and that the work would be done the following day. After their diagnosis, however, they told me the issue was only the battery. I trusted their assessment and was initially happy with the outcome. Unfortunately, about a month later my car broke down again with the exact same problem. I had it towed back to the shop and asked them to replace the alternator. Instead, I was given the runaround for two days and eventually had to tow the car to another shop. When I called multiple times, I was told the owner was “too busy” to speak with me. They then told me I needed to purchase the alternator myself and that they would install it for $700. This made no sense considering they had originally quoted $850 for both the part and labor. On top of that, the battery they charged me for a month earlier was never the real issue—the alternator was the problem all along. They refused to offer any refund, and the owner couldn’t take a few minutes to speak with me directly. I could literally hear the employee explaining my concerns to the owner and then relaying his responses back to me. That is not acceptable customer service. The only positive experience I had was with Kaelyn, who I initially dealt with and who kept me updated. Aside from that, my experience with this shop was disappointing.I don't usually write negative reviews, however I don't want anyone else to be put in the situation I was put in with them. I found them unreliable and would not recommend them.
