Quite honestly, whoever was working the Friday morning shift in the store, I’m genuinely concerned about their well-being. I came in after seeing a deal that I saw online, looking for some rotors and brakes for my Hyundai. I tried to have him scan my vehicle vin # so it could easily pull up my car information, but he preferred to manually input everything, which normally is not a problem but today I was a little cramped for time as I was running late for an appointment to get those parts installed, I already had an issue at advanced auto parts earlier this morning causing me to run late.
I gave him all the information he needed 2020, Hyundai, the parts that I needed, and the brands I was looking at online. Probably a minimum of three times this man tries to pull up parts for an Infiniti. Which obviously is not what I needed. Every piece of information I gave, he gave back incorrectly. 2022, Infiniti, sante fe? Was he even listening to the words that were coming out of my mouth? I basically take it upon myself to use his computer and put in all the necessary information so I can find the parts that I need. Once I finally get to the page and we’re looking at rotors and brakes, he scrolls past all the affordable options I was looking at on the website and immediately goes to show me expensive bougie equipment for Lamborghinis. Seriously? I’m literally shopping for my Hyundai Kona, way to out yourself as trying to rip me off. I even told him the brands I was looking for and he went to show me expensive crap. Genuinely I could not take any anymore and I had to leave mid-transaction and take my business elsewhere.. I couldn’t even find what I needed with the help of someone who supposedly works for this company. My three-year-old cat can process a smoother sales transaction. Please keep competent people working on the sales floor and with customers.
