  What happened to this company? Used them over decades and wow what it is like now. Tech was inexperienced and he was even a nasty guy. My appointment recently, was no success and he packed up and left all butt hurt over me telling him how he ruined the (major part) rear windshield wiper motor assembly by hacking it with a tool to remove a nut that he claimed he couldn't get off easily. Instead he hacked it up, ruined the threads and all. After disturbing me in the middle of a work meeting I told him id be in- 15 mins later HE knocks on my door asking me IF I had a bench vice? HUH? Say wha? Absurd to ask but all I know he shows me a (ruined) rear assembly all hacked by him trying to remove a nut? Who does this, like that? All I can say is yea, no for this company now. Tech was not trained well if he attempts and then causes damage and cost me $50 for new part needed since the threads got so damaged by their tech. On the damaged part. Yes I called to reschedule AND asked to be reimbursed for the part BUT they put it all back on me AND nope, THEY never paid me back for it, BUT instead they "banned me" from making any new appointments for "being rude" to their tech? With details? Seems you won't care to understand the precipice of what happened was your guy's behavior and his and actions here. SO I wondered how you were even serious with that info. That's fine for me anyhow - I'm glad and it's me who NOW has banned your company from any future work and tell all others online and anyplace else to NOT use Safelite for glass, never. After this, I never will call to use your company again. NEVER again, so I don't really care. And that I got my glass done after that without issues, at a small company locally that I'd much rather give my business to these smaller places now. For what he that tech did and seeing that I've had many Safelite mobile glass techs come here who were very pleasant. NEVER had issues until this time. If you look at my customer profile, you'll see how many times I've had use your company over the decades. Comparison is then, to now. I ended up using a small glass shop without issue. I'd go small biz. Stay away from this stuff, it is my advice. NO MORE SAFELITE.

  Service was not the best. First windshield had issues and it wasn’t handled correctly Customer service wise. Had to wait a week to have it replaced a second time. Second windshield was replaced, but they skipped the step of polishing and cleaning residue. Now I’ll have to get it cleaned…

  Must read, warning to future customers to take pictures of your car before you let anyone work on it. We dropped off our car off yesterday at 3:50pm. Said we would pick up next morning. Got a text saying the windshield replacement was finished at 4:40pm. Then another one at 10:48am saying the eye sight calibration was done. When we picked it up, we noticed a crack in the radio touch screen. They said to take a picture and send them an email. We didn’t hear anything so we called and asked if we needed to bring the car back. They said yes. So my husband drove the 35 minutes all the way back just to be told since we didn’t take a picture before they worked on it there was nothing they could do. Just mentioned they rushed to get it done. Obviously it’s their word against ours. That’s a $1300 unit they cracked. No decency to own up to your mistake, karma will come your way sir. I’m mainly writing this review for future customers. Please take pictures before you drop your car off.

  My windshield got nicked around 10am...Made an appointment and it was all done by 12:30pm. Terrific service at all levels. Highest recommendation.
