- DTDestiny TurnerMar 1, 20263.0Awful company policy!! Stranded in New Jersey, made an online reservation using my Florida DL with no flags or disclaimers regarding it being out of state. When arriving was told because it is an out of state DL ONLY a major credit card is accepted for payment. They refused to accept my Visa bank credit card even though I have used it at their rental agency. I even offered to pay cash for the rental in addition to putting the card on file. A simple ALERT WHEN YOU PUT IN AN OUT OF STATE LICENSE SAYING ONLY A MAJOR CREDIT CARD WOULD BE ACCEPTED would be a great way to not piss customers off when they are left scrambling with no transportation options on a Sunday morning. Not sure how living in another state suddenly makes me a red flag and financial risk. I thought we were all part of the same country. While I am still upset over their company policy leaving me stranded, once you know these rules, they are fairly easy to work with. I do wish they had a lot more options for one way trips. A special call out to specifically the Zephyrhills Florida Enterprise location for being amazing!!
