- DHDalton HuttMar 1, 20261.0Ordered multiple orders same day delivery around noon, giving them 8 hours to drive a whopping 5 miles to deliver…. Will get items next day due to incompetent staff (I won’t hold my breath). They weren’t sure if it was a glitch and instead of calling me to confirm, the response was “I’m surprised you waited so long to call we’re about to close soon”. The delivery window was 12-8pm… forgive me if I assumed that when you saw some delivery orders come through, you would, Idk, do your job? Give me a break, I ordered through Autozone, same day and same time and got the order delivered an hour later, I know who I’ll be doing business with from now on…

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
