  I went to this Mavis late at 4:30 when they close at 5 and they still took me in to do 4 tires. On top of that Alex was super friendly and professional and the service turned out great I would recommend this mavis to anyone !!

  I have had tires and other work done at Mavis this location in years past. But today I have a rental from enterprise in which Mavis does the oil changes for enterprise. I took the car there today as instructed by an enterprise rep from (Trenton) where I got the rental car from, Because I needed an oil change and he didn’t want me to have to come way back down to Trenton to get it done. So after asking the rep at Mavis about several dates for the oil change, he told me they were all booked up. He advised that. Another Mavis location in Hillside New Jersey, I asked him if he could call the other location just to see if they We’re booked up. He told me no that he couldn’t call them. So I left that location and went to the location in Hillside, which the representative there Mr. Calvin was extremely nice and was able to take down my information That he had to put in the system to get it approved because it is a rental vehicle. So I’m now just waiting for a call back from Mr. Calvin as to when I can bring the car in to get the oil changed. I’m just surprised that the other representative at this location wasn’t able to call just to see if they had any openings. And every time I mentioned a date they were booked up.

  I had an absolutely terrible experience with Mavis Discount Tire and will not be going back. I made an appointment for 11 AM for what should have been a simple 20-minute tire patch. Instead, I waited an entire hour before they even brought my car in. That alone is frustrating when you schedule ahead, but it only got worse from there. After another full hour, they finally finished—except they didn’t. When I checked the car, my spare tire was dangerously loose. it could’ve easily unhooked itself and caused serious damage or an accident if I hadn’t caught it. On top of that, they never connected or scanned the tire sensor to the vehicle. Basic stuff that should never be overlooked. So what should have been a quick fix turned into even more waiting—another 30 minutes just for them to tighten something that takes seconds. Completely unacceptable. And the worst part? After finally leaving and driving for about 20–30 minutes, the same tire went flat again. So the repair clearly wasn’t even done properly. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had either. Last year, I had a tire replaced here, and I’m almost convinced they put a used tire on my truck. It never holds air, while the other three tires—same brand, same Michelin—hold pressure perfectly. They checked the valve stem and claimed nothing was wrong, which makes no sense. Between the poor workmanship, lack of attention to detail, and complete disregard for customer time and safety, I have zero confidence in this place. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
