- MSM StanOct 11, 20251.0If I could give a lower rating than 1 star, that would be most appropriate. I made an appointment for my passenger window to be replaced after it was hit by a rock. I made the appointment over a week in advance to ensure that I had enough time to make alternate vehicle arrangements and to make sure Safelite could order what was needed, etc. My appointment was for a Friday afternoon. After bringing my vehicle to my mother's house because she would be home for appointment and borrowing her car so I could get to and from work, I received a phone call the morning of my appointment saying that the window was not in and I needed to reschedule. Extremely inconvenient of course, but I have to get this done. I call back and re-schedule for the upcoming Monday morning 8:30 am and I make plans yet again to borrow my mother's car for work. Saturday morning Jennifer from Safelite calls because on Monday there is a rainstorm coming and asks if I have a garage for the installation process at home. I do not have a garage at home. I call Jennifer back and now I need to reschedule again. I asked her if by chance my window was in yet and surprisingly it was (less than 24 hours from when she called me and told me it had not come in yet). Of course, I could not bring my vehicle in right then on Saturday because they are booked solid and the weekend is their busiest time. I ask if I can bring my vehicle in the shop at 8:30 on Monday since it is an enclosed garage, but yet again they are booked solid until 11:30 or 4:30. I could see that this was not going anywhere, and I decided to bring my vehicle elsewhere for the repair. Jennifer did not make any attempt to accommodate me as the customer, but rather just kept offering unreasonable solutions to a problem that they caused since the replacement window was sitting in their shop as of Saturday morning. This is not the type of business I will support and I do not recommend Safelite.
