I typically don’t post bad reviews because it’s not my vibe, HOWEVER, I used this location when a rock came up on the parkway and fractured the windshield of my 2024 CRV, insurance covers the use of this company so I figured how bad could it possibly be? I was so wrong for thinking it was going to be a good choice. The fracture happened in May 2025. I picked my car up and heard what I believed to be a leak in the seal because all I heard was the wind (I’m a commuter 5 days a week) I took the car back and was told there is no leak but the tech snapped the clips to the moulding that run up the sides all the way to the back of the car. I was told they would replace it they just had to wait for the items to come in. 3 months and I had to keep calling corporate to get updates because no one bothered to reach out to tell me there was a back order on the moulding and the clips. They finally called me but at this point someone had hit my car and ran at a local food store. My car was in the shop for about a month they called me twice a week and told me I had to come in (where was this motivation to call me when the parts Q kept getting delayed?) I said that would be lovely except I don’t have my car now, it’s getting repaired. Someone finally added that to my file and then life happens, I had an injury and couldn’t bring my car in until today January 2026. Naturally it’s raining today, I dropped my car off today had the moulding and clips fixed a few hours later. I picked the keys up started my car and received a warning that my back passenger door was open FOR THE PAST TWO HOURS IN THE RAIN. I open the door and my back seat is SOAKED, the seatbelt SOAKED, my documents for work SOAKED, the floor ALSO SOAKED. At this point I’m so frustrated because at every turn I haven’t had the best experience. I go back inside tell the front desk associate (who is on their cellphone) that whoever worked on my car left my door open and all my documents for work, the seat, the seatbelt, and the floor are sopping wet. Their reply? “Oh god sorry I’ll let them know” I have no clue how I’m going to get all this moisture out of my car now, I don’t even know if the clips were installed right yet until I actually get to drive my car. I would caution everyone to be careful when booking them for work to your vehicle. They sure didn’t care about my car why would they care about anyone else’s ?

They suck. They baited me saying that I would get new windshield wipers if I went through insurance. When I questioned why I didn't get new wipers the same person who told me I would get the wipers said someone else gave me false info. I could of gotten this repair done out of pocket and faster. I won't be returning.

We had a crack in our windshield and called Safelite for a repair. The technician arrived promptly and took care of the installation quickly at our house, which was appreciated. However, the quality of the installation was not up to standard. During the process, several issues arose: four pieces of molding were either broken or bent, several push pins on the cowling were missing, the auto wipers no longer worked, and there was unwanted wind noise inside the cabin. While I understand that things can occasionally go wrong with car repairs, I was disappointed that the technician didn’t inform me of these issues. It’s concerning that these problems weren’t addressed or mentioned when the job was completed. I contacted Safelite’s customer service, and they were responsive, ordering the necessary parts to fix the issues. However, I now need to bring my car to them for the repairs, which isn’t as convenient as the initial at-home service. I’m hopeful that they will correct the problems properly, but the lack of communication during the initial service has left me frustrated.

I got a quote from safelite they said they have the glass in stock. Then I was transfered to the local shop (tomsriver) to set an install date and time. The supervisor said they didn't want to do it because a 1993 ford ranger is to old. Now I get emails and phone calls none stop to have the windshield installed but they will not even install it. I used A US Auto Glass LLC in bayville instead, zero issues.

I am currently on my 3rd windshield replacement installation in a month due to improper installation or inexperience with my make/model car or both. The initial installation broke tabs on the windshield. The second installation replaced the glass with the same glass that failed the first time. Awaiting scheduling for the 3rd installation and was told glass from a different manufacturer will be used. I’d expected a windshield replacement business as large, renowned, and pricey to have the knowledge and expertise required to meet the needs of the job no matter the make and model of automobile. The inconvenience on my time and wallet cannot be overstated. I didn’t think to ask if experience was had working on my type of vehicle and took for granted that they did have it at my own peril and inconvenience so far. I don’t like leaving bad reviews or making a scene and prefer to deal professionally and trust that people are working honestly and in good faith. At this point and this many attempts I have zero faith in the next installation. Thankfully this is all being covered under warranty so i have that going for me.
