February's blizzard caused the front windshield gasket to separate from my Subaru. The tech who responded to repair request, John, was extraordinarily helpful. However, he didnt have the required tool fora repair. Instead, he notified the "office" that I'd be there that afternnon. To my pleasant surprise, the tech repaired it within 10 minutes -- my greater surprise was that there was no charge for this repair... thank you. Plus, a reminder to all in Toms River that the Rt 37 Safelite Glass Repair is stellar AND the staff has INTGRITY!!

I had my windshield replaced by this specific shop. When I picked up my car I noticed one of my pillars was loose and fabric was sticking out as it wasn’t tucked into the pillar. I called safelight as I was driving away and brought my car back. I was told they don’t touch the pillars and it just from stretching over time. He also tried to tuck the fabric to get rid of the evidence as I watched him do it. So they refused it was their error and wouldn’t fix it. I have a good friend who has fixed cars and replaced windshield during his life including working on race cars professionally and he said that you do remove them. So I called again and went back in. They again said they don’t touch those and they wouldn’t fix it. I have now called a third time and have threatened a lawsuit after going to my cars dealership and they said that the pillars get removed. I also have done a bunch of researched and watched video about windshield replacement and they do remove the pillars. So either my cars gets fixed or I keep this review up so others can be advised of the unscrupulous business practices this shop has committed.
In response to your reply: I already reached out 3 times. I love how companies want to look like they care by replying reach out to us and we’ll help when I already have.

Terrible service I went there 2 times in a week. First time I had a chip that was smaller than a quarter that they told me they could fix over the phone but upon arrival the tech said he couldnt fill the crescent moon chip and ensured that I had nothing to worry about. The very next day the chip spread across the windshield. 1 week later I returned to have the windshield replaced and in the process the technician broke my door handle and failed to tell me upon pickup. I went back in and mentioned it is when they let me speak to the technician who that proceeded to tell me that he stuck a pick in it and lubed it up. Now im unable to enter my vehicle from the driver door. When expressing my concerns to the manager she was very loud and failed to hold the technician accountable even after he admitted to sticking a pick in my door and tampering with it. After about 10 minutes I walked out safelite was willing to take no responsibility for my broken door handle that functioned when I dropped it off for service.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS.
I went to this Safelite location for a windshield repair using a $25 coupon and paid cash. After getting my vehicle back, I immediately noticed a rattling noise and air leaking in from the top of the windshield. I called Safelite right away but was told they couldn’t fit me in for another week. Unfortunately, I was heading back to school out of state and couldn’t make that appointment.
I ended up scheduling service with the nearest Safelite location where I currently am. After inspecting the vehicle, they told me all the windshield brackets were broken and appeared to have been “manipulated” and reinforced with adhesive. They also found the top molding was missing, which caused the windshield to shift and led to the air leak into the cabin. Thankfully, they fixed everything properly, although the technician there seemed pretty frustrated about the condition the previous work left my vehicle in.
Avoid this location at all costs, there are posters all over this location begging you for a good review. If you value your vehicle, please take your business somewhere

If I could give “0” stars I would. Management is rude, combative, and argumentative.
We had a chip repair scheduled for a weekend day. It was supposed to snow in the evening. The “manager” Catherine called my husbands number but we never received this call. Saturday around 330 we call to confirm when they’ll arrive and they inform us our appt was reschedule to the middle of our workday. Which obviously doesnt work. We confirmed initially our heated garage was a good place for the repair BTW!
We rescheduled to a weekend day when we’re actually available. My windshield cracked much more severely before then. With the knowledge we’d need a replacement. We called safelite in TR to inform them of this issue and now needing to replace the tint, which wouldn’t have happened if they properly communicated things and didn’t schedule things for the middle of peoples workdays without their knowledge or consent. No emails, no follow up calls either.
Catherine H, the so called manager at this location was nothing but argumentative, and combative when I tried to explain the situation. Including informing her we never received a email with this. Without offering to see what could be done for the now large expense we have to put out of pocket. She said one phone call was sufficient and her job was done. She then implied I had no regard for human life when I stated they eased our concerns about temperatures when we informed them of our heated garage. I asked for the corporate number to make a formal complaint and she refused stating I could Google it since I knew everything. Continuously stated “I’m sorry you can’t understand human safety”. This kind of behavior from a “manager” is despicable. We have a call with the district manager who I should hope with have better manners than Catherine H! Stay clear of this location if you can, at the very least, avoid Catherine H at all costs.
