In result, the left side of my front bumper got messed up which I’m already extremely embarrassed driving especially since I had nothing to do with the collision. I researched the reviews between the south amboy NJ and old bridge NJ locations based on their customer service/service & decided to go with the south amboy location being that they had better reviews. Oil change went fine. I was assisted by Connor who originally gave me a welcoming first impression, however upon opening the hood of my vehicle he made a joke to another worker stating “ this car needs a front bumper, oil change and xyz” I couldn’t make out the last thing he said. As a customer not only is it embarrassing, it’s disappointing because I’m spending my hard earned money on a service that shouldn’t include unsolicited comments from the same worker who is smiling ear to ear while taking my payment. It’s really unprofessional and can make a customer refrain from going to that location again just because of that one comment, not even the service done to the car. Employees like that really need to consider that people live different lives and everyone has their own thing going on , you don’t know everyone’s finical position . I’m not trying to come off a sensitive in all honesty. It’s just not right to have an employee smile in your face and then make jokes about how your car looks unprovoked and the quality of the car to another worker while I’m right in front of them inside of the car and can hear almost everything.
