  Stopped by Mavis Discount Tire in Ridgewood, HoHoKus, because my tire was loosing air. The manager Rich was so nice and helped me add air to all of my tires and even found a nail in one of them. He repaired the tire and saved me from buying a new one. Much appreciated. I will Absolutely be back when it’s time to buy all new tires. Thanks again Rich.

  Stopped by for air pressure sensor and ended making a decision on just getting a tire. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended

  Avoid this business. Many of these reviews are fake or coerced. This Mavis franchise requests that its customers post five-star reviews in exchange for discounts. This not only violates Google's policy but is considered illegal deceptive advertising in violation of consumer protection laws. I will be reporting these violations. I brought my Tesla in for Mavis to replace a single damaged tire. Mavis ordered and installed the WRONG tire. Both Tesla and another tire repair shop agreed that particular tire should not have been installed on my vehicle and, by doing so, Mavis caused my vehicle to be dangerous to drive. I drive my children, who are six, nine and eleven years old, around in this car on a daily basis. When I reported this error to Rich, the manager of this Mavis, he not only refused to acknowledge the error or provide a refund or replacement, but he also had the gall to hang up on me. This Mavis location is incredibly sketchy, incompetent and rude. Do not go here.

  I hope there was zero star option. All fake reviews here. I came here only to have my tires changed, but this visit turned into a nightmare. I was told my car needed new calipers, which seemed questionable on a vehicle with only about 40,000 miles. I ended up spending nearly $3,000 on calipers, brake pads, and rotors for a car worth around $5,000. Immediately after the work, the car began making squeaking noises and a rubbing sound while driving at highway speeds. I returned to the shop five times, and each time I was told they could not replicate the issue. Despite repeated complaints, nothing was fixed and the problem continued. On my sixth visit, I was finally told that the rotors had not been installed properly. Those rotors were completely worn out within just 2,500 miles, which is unacceptable and alarming. This clearly points to poor workmanship and a lack of proper diagnosis. I would not recommend this shop due to incompetence, unnecessary repairs, and failure to take responsibility.
