Both Barry and Roger have been super helpful in desperate “time of need” when I got a flat on Rte 46 and I got stuck at a gas station waiting for AAA. I called them and they ordered me the right brand and size tire for my car to be ready when AAA drops the car off. And Anthony and Jose the mechanics were great technicians who removed the flat, remounted, rebalanced, and fixed up my busted tire. These guys are quick to order the right tires with prompt follow up calls to let you know your tire is ready and waiting for you. They get you serviced promptly for a quick in and out. They were super friendly & very helpful. I was so happy with their service that I decided to come back again for my other worn out tire, even though there is a Mavis Discount Tire closer to where I live. I highly recommend this Mavis Discount Tire center on US-46 Ridgefield Park, NJ for all your tire needs!

Fast, friendly, polite, clean place and staff! As good an experience you can have getting tires or any wheel issues. Plenty of knowledge and experience by the staff. I have 2 trucks and one car and won't ever go anywhere else for my tire or wheel needs! This place is the BEST!¡

Store #509 Address: 67 Route 46 E, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660 Mechanic: Willy Manager: Berry Front Desk: Shady & Raja Car: 2015 Ford Mustang V6 Convertible Total Repair Cost: $2,871.25 Documentation attached with this email. Incident: I had a complete breakdown on the highway, a deep pothole destroyed the front driver & passenger side sway-bar endlinks and struts, front driver side rim and tire, rear driver side tire. My car was towed to the above shop for service and repair on 02/01/2026, struts, tires, and endlinks were ordered by store #509. I had to order new rims which would take 2 days to get delivered to me on 02/05/2026. I communicated with the store that they need to swap the old strut springs & rubber bushings to the new struts to keep the same ride height all around. Willy (mechanic) lied to the front desk that new struts are one-piece which cannot be taken apart for springs swap, and promised the ride height would be the same all around (front & rear). Then, I told the store to keep my old struts just in case the ride height is not the same. They did not follow my request, my old struts were in the dumpster, and I was lucky to have them back before the dumpster got cleared. Today (02/05/2026), I brought in the new rims to finish the repair, Willy was repeatedly making mistakes on installing the tires, mistakened the rear tires to the front rims, constantly arguing about the tires size fitment, and again lied about that I never had a spare tire tie down nut. I myself had to show him that everything would fit, the ride height is not the same front and rear, guide him through the installation, and catch him lying about the tire tie down nut in my truck, and furthermore prove to him that new struts are not one-piece. Lastly, he admitted his lies. I spent almost $3,000 dollars to get my car service, none of the things I communicated were followed by the store nor the mechanic. Most importantly, I was lied to for two days while waiting for my new rims to get delivered, for which they had all that time to double check and fix what I was paying for. I request to get a refund on this matter, please advise. Update: regional manager Archer is unprofessional, offered a $200 store credits in a manner of take it or leave it after a week of lost work and job due to their mistakes and lies.

I went to Mavis Tire for a tire replacement on my fairly new 2024 car, which I take great care of. After the service, I immediately noticed a scratch on the rim where the tire had been replaced. When I brought it up, the first response I got was essentially, “How do you know we did this? I see there are other dings in a different rim.” To me, that felt like an attempt to shift blame rather than take responsibility for the clear scratch on the rim they worked on. I was later told the manager would review the video to see if there was any action during the service that could have caused the damage. Beware — take detailed pictures of your rims and car before leaving it here. My experience left me very disappointed, and I hope others can avoid the same frustration. When customers trust a shop with their car, the least they should expect is accountability and respect, not deflection.
