I have been supporting another GMC dealership for my pervious and current vehicles. I have stuck with the dealership where I purchased the cars, but as of today my GMC heart has been given to Sawyer Lyons Buick GMC of Randolph.
Ciera was amazing -- from taking the appointment yesterday to receiving and returning my car after service today. I do not know much about cars, but I can tell my car is as happy as can be. It drives like it has a spring in its step again.
Plus you are around the corner from me. No longer will I need to drive through rush hour traffic to sit there and wait from 7AM to 2pm for an oil change.

Everyone here was super helpful and kind. I was greeted by Maggie who helped me start looking at cars that I wanted. She was so sweet and welcoming. Then George G took me for a test drive, and got me what I needed in a price range I needed. He was so patient, kind, and helpful. Scott was great at describing all the financial aspects and warranties. He was great at making all the big important details into understandable every day language. Everyone was fantastic and communication and each time I called someone answered friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place. And it all started from a friend putting me in contact with Sean, who equally great at communicating and finding what is needed.

I cannot recommend Sawyer Lyons highly enough! After a terrible experience at Performance Ford, my wife and I decided to stop here, and it was the best decision we could have made. Megan V. was incredible—pleasant, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. She answered every single question we had and worked hard to get us a great deal on our new GMC Acadia.
Dante was also a pleasure to work with on the financing side. The whole process made us feel like we were part of the family rather than just a transaction. If you haven't seen the new GMCs lately, go check them out—they are slick! This is our go to place from now on. Thanks Megan! Woot, woot!

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Lack of Integrity and Communication
I had a deeply frustrating and costly experience with Sawyer Lyons Buick GMC of Randolph. I purchased a 2019 Ford Transit Connect “as is” on 12/5/25. Just four days later, on 12/9/25, the van would not start. The starter and a fuse had failed, resulting in a $700 repair. I immediately attempted to contact the dealership and speak with a manager. To this day, no one has returned my call.
Unfortunately, the issues did not stop there. On 12/19/25, the transmission completely failed. I again contacted the dealership and was told I would receive a call back. Once again, no call ever came. I am now facing an estimated $4,000–$5,000+ transmission replacement.
While I understand what “as is” means, it does not excuse selling a vehicle that fails catastrophically almost immediately after purchase, nor does it excuse the complete lack of communication, accountability, or basic professionalism. The total absence of follow-up from management speaks volumes about this dealership’s integrity.
The failure to return calls, acknowledge the situation, or show even minimal compassion is appalling. This experience has left me with significant unexpected expenses and absolutely no confidence in this business. I strongly caution others to think carefully before purchasing a vehicle from Sawyer Lyons Buick GMC of Randolph.

I stopped by the showroom near the end of the evening and was not greeted until I was standing next to the vehicle. Given the timing, I did not expect to test drive the car. I came in simply to see it in person, as it had been listed for several months.
When the sales representative approached me, he immediately stated that they do not allow test drives. I explained that I was not looking to test drive the vehicle that evening, since they were closing in about twenty minutes, but that I would want to test drive it before making any purchase decision. I was then told that test drives are not allowed without submitting a credit application.
I explained again that my goal that night was only to view the car and that I would be happy to return on another day to test drive it and discuss next steps. At that point, the sales representative involved his manager. The manager reiterated the same requirement and suggested that I rent a similar vehicle through Turo to see how it drives. He also confirmed that a credit application would be required before any test drive.
I considered removing my rating, thinking I may have misunderstood the situation. However, after reading your response and seeing that it did not acknowledge the credit requirement at all, my concerns were reinforced. Weather-related safety considerations are understandable. Requiring a hard credit check without offering any alternatives, such as proof of funds or pre-qualification, is not. Additionally, the vehicle remains listed on your website with a recent price adjustment.
