Driving School
Harper Driving School was purchased by the Rue and Tyrell families in January 2007.
The Rues and Tyrells are excited to be able to serve South Jersey by providing the highest quality of driving instruction in the area.
Tim and Allison Rue both grew up in Pitman and worked under Mr. Harper for many years. Tim is a history teacher at Williamstown High School and Allison is a stay-at-home mom and a driving instructor. Both have logged thousands of hours in driving instruction.

I chose Harper driving school, which was close to a family members house although about 40 minutes from where we live. They were a little bit less expensive than many of the driving schools near our hometown (which is a pricier area). I chose Harper driving school because they had a ton of amazing reviews. We ended up having a refresh course since my son needed a little bit of extra training in a few areas. We also utilized their car (since my car has tinted windows). They have new Honda accords which is a great mid size car to learn in. In the end, it cost more money than I initially anticipated. However, it was money well spent! We had four different instructors throughout the process and they were all amazing, friendly, calm, and knowledgeable. Lou met us closer to our house for the refresh courses so we saw him twice. My son really liked him a lot! The office is prompt at answering phone calls and messages. I now have a licenses driver! I will continue to recommend them to anyone I can. I cannot say enough good things about Harper driving school. Thank you!
