I believed my personal insurance covered the vehicle, but I later realized I was being charged daily for additional collision coverage that was not clearly explained to me. The extra costs only became clear when I returned the car. I feel the optional charges should have been communicated more transparently. I feel like I got scammed. I ended up paying $1240 dollars for a one week rental. It’s unacceptable and on top of that when I called customer service they told me they couldn’t do anything. No manager has contacted me about it and I get hang up every time I call.
