I was driving from out of state to my parents' home in central Jersey for a turn-and-burn work trip (while in my third trimester of pregnancy) when a nail caught my tire on Rt. 287. When my tire light came on, I got off the highway and discovered the nail. My parents are longtime Mavis customers and recommended I get right over to Mavis in Parsippany. My expectations were low: it was about 4:00 pm on a Friday, right before an insane snowstorm was about to hit the tristate. I was sure everyone and their mother would be preparing and I would be caught in endless delays because of my garbage cosmic circumstance. Not so!!!!! The staff at Mavis were FANTASTIC. They helped me with great kindness, got my car seen right away, and identified that the tire could be patched and thus permanently resolve the problem. They assured me that it would be safe to drive on for the remaining life of the tires, and that I could go to work and back to my home out-of-state before the snowstorm without issue, and checked all of the tires for any other problems, air, etc. so I could navigate safely. They were kind and patient with my questions and concerns and offered to make a very large and stressed-out pregnant lady comfortable. And, they turned around my car expeditiously so my entire process was under 2 hours, arrival to departure. Finally, the price was INSANELY low. I was sure I misheard. I couldn't believe it! All in all, I had a phenomenal experience at this Mavis that made a really crappy circumstance so much better. Mavis saved the day!! If I lived closer, they would exclusively have my business in perpetuity!
